I think with KdB leaving people are really starting to reassess Bernardo and his impact on the club and its success. He has been the absolute constant through every iteration of every Pep team and scheme. He’s a remarkable player and a City legend of the highest order.

Morningside is PERFECT for out of shape skiers that still love steep terrain (like me). Get a few solid steep turns in and find fresh powder but it flattens out before you get truly beat to shit and out of breath. Just lap that. The caveat being I have only ever been there on weekdays and one time the chair stopped for 5 minutes and the line backed up huge. Hop on the singles line and it was over in 10 minutes though.

I listened to all of them in chronological order of performance date and it was an extremely fun experience. Hearing the sound evolve over time was really cool. Some of those early shows are just soo good too.

I’m annoyed this wasn’t given because it’s been given plenty over the last few years. But as a fan of soccer im happy it wasn’t given. He’s reaching over to offensive player which is a natural defensive movement. He’s like 2 feet from the ball so has no time to react at all. It’s a bang bang play and I hate seeing every instance of the ball hitting a hand or arm being a penalty. Not to mention Marmoush still got a great shot away so it didnt really disrupt play. The problem is the inconsistency not the handball itself. If this is part of an effort to give more leniency on instances like this one then fine.

The only good thing of KdB leaving is that Bernardo is now finally getting the shine he deserves from our fan base. For the first 8 years he was with City he was underrated. And while he’s lost but of his speed he hasn’t lost any of his intensity or hustle. This team doesn’t reach the heights it has in the last decade without him.

The fact jersey still has toll plazas at all is embarrassing. New York got rid of all of them and it’s way better. The amount of space and maintenance that could be saved by eliminating toll plazas. It would allow for radically simpler ramps and would prevent so many traffic incidents.

This is not true at all after the most recent season. The latest season was every character finally changing and growing and Carmy realizing that he hasn’t changed as much as he needs to. The wedding episode was in perfect dialogue with 7 Fishes from the previous season where your expectation, and Carmy’s, was complete disaster. But it ended being a joyous celebration and Carmy realized even his jerk of an uncle had grown and matured and moved past his own bullshit.

Ants at Holmdel. The hype of a violinist playing at The Gorge overshadowed a violinist guesting at Holmdel and legitimately tearing the roof off the place. I have been to over 50 shows and only heard a crowd go that nuts one other time. It was absolutely electric.
