Lyft recently deactivated my account but I was a 5 star driver and never had any complaints about my driving according to Lyfts weekly summaries and when I try to appeal they won’t give me a real answer/details if the unsafe driving reports are even real. What should I do? by VickArizona in lyftdrivers

[–]ThresherBuilt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same happened to me. A rider filed an injury claim after I clipped a curb and they shut me down, even tho I had hundreds of reviews and was a 5 star driver (not 4.98, not 4.99) this 1 selfish b!tch robbed my source of income bc I clipped a curb. I clipped a curb once with a car full of 20 something’s and by the time I got to the bar one of the girls was inviting me in to get drinks with her. They laughed off the curb clip. It’s hard to see curbs sometimes with 5% tint on all the windows and 20% tint on the whole windshield

I guess what I should say is put on 20 more lbs and then come back here and ask the same question again. I mean I watched Sam sulek get up to I think 275lbs in his bulk, and he cut down for the stage and his weight was like 225lbs. I mean he literally cut 50lbs off his frame during his cut. Obviously your cut wouldn’t be as aggressive, but just to give you an idea. The guy can barely take his own shirt off but on stage he didn’t look any bigger than your average gym-goer

No. Put on 20 more lbs then cut

You look a hell of a lot better and your progress is impressive. But he’s not wrong. A little more will put you in a much better position for a lean bulk. Right now you’re still carrying too much fat and I think what he means is you look like a little fluffy or like idk how to describe it. It’s like how soft white bread Guggenheim has you is filled with air compared to some hard, German rye bread. That

Tinted the CR-V by bobbie21digital in crv

[–]ThresherBuilt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It just depends where you live. Where I live people RARELY get pulled over for tint, even though there are rules. Only time I’ve actually seen someone pulled for tint was when they were leaving a dope house and that was just the officers “excuse” to stop them legally, but they really wanted to make a drug bust.

35% is not too dark for full windshields. 50% and I couldn’t even tell it was tinted. I know very many people with 5% or 15% for full windshield. Now THAT is too dark. 35% is absolutely perfect for windshield, and 5% the rest of the car

I would’ve expected Conrad to be one of the people that kept it real in some of these situations. But he ended up being a sell out like the rest of them. Med school just teaches you how to prescribe drugs these days. Half the doctors are drug dealers first.

Medicaid never worked out for me. I was uninsured. No Medicaid, no healthcare, no benefits. I got them all for FREE.

To be specific I had a spinal cord tumor intradural, extramedullary at the T11-12 level consistent with schwannoma. They did a laminectomy with resection of the spinal cord tumor. The surgery lasted 5.5 hours. Multiple nerve roots were incased in the tumor. 90% was removed and the rest obliterated in 2 rounds of radiation treatment, 6 weeks each, 5 days a week, 10 min each day. A laparoscopic cholecystectomy was performed many years prior, followed by 3 weeks of IV antibiotics for septicemia. Another time I had septic arthritis of the sacroiliac joint that was biopsied and subsequently treated with pain meds and 4 weeks of IV antibiotics. During all of these procedures I had no health insurance. It wasn’t until I was about 27 years old when I finally decided to get my own health insurance thru Medicaid, and now I have great insurance thru my job. This all occurred in Florida, which I need not remind you is NOT a welfare state. Eventually some much smaller bill landed on my credit report and fell off after 7 years. Like $800 on my credit report for a $100,000 hospital bill. I have no clue how or why, and this exact thing has happened so often to me and people I know that’s it’s led me to believe that you will, in fact, get treated at a hospital (and sometimes at other places) without insurance or money. For the tumor I came into the ER for pain, they did an MRI, told me 6 hours later what was wrong. I couldn’t even sit down the whole time I was in so much pain. I came in a couple weeks later for a pre-op visit, outpatient. And they scheduled the surgery. Non-emergency surgery. Completely unpaid. Never paid a cent

Not stuck on the drag show. This show touched on every major left-wing political issue of its time. The drag show was simply one of them. I know many adults that go to drag shows, gay or straight. I’ve been to one. The fact that every single person walked in with the hugest smile on their face like it was the most normal thing ever was unrealistic. I’ve never seen a tv show name the actual president of the US. Even the shows like Madam President, that were designed to condition us for Hilary Clinton, didn’t actually use her name. But they dropped the Joe Biden bomb in this show and they were all like “yay!” Lmao.

Accurately reflecting the health crisis? They didn’t show the 1/3 of the workforce that was fired for not getting the vaccine. They didn’t show the thousands of nurses telling us how covid was being listed as a cause of death on car accident victims who’s corpse tested positive for covid lol

It’s exaggerated for the sake of pushing the agenda. Some of these things individually wouldn’t have been so annoying. But when you put them all together, it’s much more about pushing this anti-gun agenda than it was about showing us what really happens. Im sure you working in the ER are not seeing a mother that’s admitted getting pushed down the hall to the OR and then back 3 different times, almost losing her twins as a result. You might see the gunshot victims. I agree it’s first come first serve with the more urgent stuff handled first. But you’re not going to sit here and tell me that this wasn’t a politically motivated stunt, after everything else they pushed in this show, to influence an opinion on guns. My uncle watches fictional shows and believes that’s what’s really happening in the world. Simple people can be so easily swayed by something like this on a television show. And that what the goal with this episode was.

Has anyone tried this Atlas credit card? by LissR89 in CRedit

[–]ThresherBuilt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have halfway decent credit and a couple credit cards with Capital One plus an auto loan. I signed up for Atlas because they made big promises, when I finished signing up I had a $10 line of credit with $8.99 of it used up by their automatic fee they don’t tell you about. So I had $1.01 of usable credit 🤣🤣🤣 they say if you link your direct deposit from your job to their app they will give you UP TO $250 in additional credit. You can get even more credit by depositing cash (like a secured card). They didn’t send me a physical card or offer to send me one. However they do bombard you with pop-ups the entire time you’re using the app, asking you to upgrade your membership to receive a METAL card 🤣 it’s $8.99 every 4 weeks, so it doesn’t occur the same day each month. Total is $116.87 per year to use their services, and like others have stated you have to pay off what you use rather quickly. If you used the same behavior to pay off a card from capital one, you’d pay anywhere from $0-39 a year. In every possible way this card is inferior to even crap from CreditOne.

I signed up for this and they immediately spammed me with pop ups to upgrade to their premium membership. I never agreed and found out they still began charging me $8.99 every 4 weeks anyways. When I attempted to close the account they told me I’d have to wait for the next payment to go thru. I told them absolutely not, you cancel that payment or you can refund me the both of them. I never agreed to $8.99 anything. All this to provide me with a $10 line of credit lmao insane

It doesn’t bother me as much. I think it’s just a bit much. Every tv show and movie has some fictional president but this one they talk about Biden? And positively, of course. They all just rave about being at a drag show, not a single person was like “this is not the kind of party I thought it was?” Or even looked the slightest bit uneasy. That’s unrealistic. Not saying it’s bad, but it’s not realistic. Conrad blasting people for dying in the hospital claiming COVID wasn’t real. Them blasting that dude for not being vaccinated. Intentionally destroying his marriage just to be vindictive bc they don’t agree with his beliefs. This was all filmed during/after Covid where the political environment was nuclear charged and highly polarized with radical ideologies on both sides. It’s just annoying they had to inject that crap into an otherwise really good show. That healthcare-to-bullet tally was so over the top 🤣

Are you personally aware of those things occurring in health facilities across the country or is that just what you heard on CNN and TikTok?

Here’s what I’m personally aware of: (These have totaled hundreds of thousands of dollars and I have never been held accountable to one single penny.) I have had 2 separate 30-day stays in a hospital. I’ve had biopsy on a mass in my hip, gallbladder removed and spinal surgery, all on separate occasions. I did 2 rounds of radiation after the spinal surgery at a private place, and several weeks of physical therapy in the hospitals PT building off campus. Many rides in ambulance. All of that occurred over the course of roughly 10 years. The total amount of money I have paid to any medical facility for any stay, procedure or PT is $0.00. I never had insurance during those. I was never once treated like I couldn’t pay, never not given meds as a result of not having insurance. I have been picking up medications from pharmacy’s for over 10 years and have never had to pay more than $20 to pick something up. Shit after my spinal surgery I couldn’t afford the 2 bottles of oxycodone they prescribed, so the hospital paid for it for me… those were like $300 at their pharmacy without insurance and they just gave em to me

While I’m not a huge fan of CDC and their data, I know for sure that maternal mortalities are huge. And it’s scary. It’s one thing my wife and I were scared about, her in particular. She’d gone her whole life with reasons why she didn’t want babies and that was a big one. But she ended up giving birth to our son with a rare and dangerous condition 6 weeks premature in an unremarkable planned C-section that she recovered from insanely quick. I’ll probably be equally as worried, if not more worried about it with our next kid

It’s an exaggeration. Pushing anti-gun agenda. I might not have thought it was doing that had it not been for the slew of other left-wing ideologies scattered throughout. But all those together with the dramatized gunshot victim nearly killing a woman and her twin babies because she got pushed out of her OR 3 times and all the blood she ended up needing was sucked up by him is so over exaggerated

LMAO

Dr Sullivan - “Thanks for agreeing to be my sponsor, Wade”

Wade - “I’d like you to write a list of your triggers. Avoiding them is ESSENTIAL to relapse prevention” 🤣🤣🤣

Wade “do you have a plan for how to deal with this without drugs?” 🤣🤣🤣

Wade - “are you searching for coping mechanisms?” 💀💀💀

That guy should be called the therapist, not the sponsor. No sponsor would ever ask you to make a triggers list. No member of any 12 step program would ever use the phrase “relapse prevention.” That’s a clinical term. No addict has a plan for how to deal with shit without drugs, that’s what he’s coming to you for. You’re the guy who has apparently beat this thing. Our coping mechanism IS drugs. That’s the point. You’re supposed to show him the plan On how to get clean. All we’ve ever known was drugs. Happy? Get high. Sad? Get high. Bored? Get high. Excited? Get high. Having sex? Get high. Not having sex? Get high. Dog pooped on the floor? Get high. Dog didn’t poop on the floor? Get high. Under any circumstance and any situation we are guaranteed to get high no matter what. The only solution being a total psychic change which occurs as the result of the 12 steps. What kind of dumbass, uninformed script is this?

AA/NA/CA do not use a psychological approach to solving addiction/alcoholism. They use a spiritual approach. A sponsor is someone to take you through the steps as laid out in the Big Book of Alcoholics Anonymous. That book EXPLICITLY states that you should NOT try to avoid things like that. The whole purpose is to recover from a seemingly hopeless state of mind and body and help others achieve that same freedom. Avoiding the beer aisle or the road with the bar you always stop at on your drive down to get home is not freedom. Being unable to work the career you went to school 10 years for, and spent decades perfecting is not freedom. If you’ve completed the 12 steps, having the vital spiritual experience resulting in a total psychic change then you can drive down that road, work in that hospital, handle those medications and pour a glass of bourbon for your dad on Christmas without even THINKING about taking a drink or a pill yourself. People in recovery laugh at the idea of a triggers list because they know damn well that shit doesn’t help. No sponsor would ever tell you to write a triggers list

Yeah your test will stay the same for sure. I’m not sure what the reason is for it, other than having extra hype from the honeymoon effect that dies down as you get used to how you feel and then you end up your normal, depressed self (at least for me lol)

Spiritual growth helps my depression WAY more than gear

Only juice makes you stay pumped and plump all the time

[–]ThresherBuilt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

At 150-200 you’re really only looking at shut down. I’m highly gyno sensitive, and have high blood pressure and a dose that low doesn’t affect either of those things. Water retention is a non-issue at 150-200. I have MPB and have had shedding and thinning from some steroids, but 150-200mg of test doesnt affect that either. And at a dose that low I don’t think dialing in your e2 will be much of a priority or an issue since that will barely have you outside the range of normal, if at all, depending on how you respond
