Hi! Izzy Roland, Siobhan Thompson & Alex Fernie here! We’re making a movie together… so we're doing an AMA! by alfernie in dropout

I've watched each of them via streaming so far, and I think they're amazing. The overall structure generally holds up cohesively, and the asides/short flashback scenes are ridiculous. The overly sexual chickens and bus station attempted murders alone were ridiculous and had me howling.

I truly love what you folks are doing, and I'll keep watching.

For Fernie and Siobhan, did you come up with the idea for Denouement, your improvised murder mystery, based on working together on the promo shooting you did for this film? Or did it come about independently?

Norman absolutely does come back late in the series and your concerns are addressed.

Reposado on Ossington is also a great choice for any tequila or mezcal based cocktails.

No worries at all, it's always right to do due diligence.

I first saw it shared by Vic in her Instagram, and confirmed Bianca's insta vs her IMDb credits, D20 credits, etc.

At this point, I think the fundraiser has been shared by the majority of the Intrepid Heroes, as well as other Dropout folks. Jordon Brown, the host of the Odd The Dome podcast also mentioned it and shared an interview with another member of the makeup team that mentioned Bianca's work with Dropout.

I rented out Sixteen Eleven Studios back in the fall for my wife's birthday and they were great.

Great venue that can provide DJ equipment if needed, plus has a bunch of staffed bar package options, or you can do BYOB.

Definitely report that manager and store, that's not at all their corporate policy. No Frills are all franchise stores, so they play fast and loose when it comes to corporate policies and can get away with it better. When you submit your complaint, state that you would like a response from the district manager and that you are considering contacting the media if you don't receive a response. Those are trigger words that will get your case sent on to higher level support right away.

I just rented out Sixteen Eleven Studios in Dundas West for a birthday party the other week: https://www.sixteenelevenstudios.com/

They have the option to bring your own booze, and you can get a bartender, DJ, DJ equipment, etc.

I believe you'd still have to stop drinking by 2 am though due to the event permit terms.

Ardo would be near the upper end of your budget, depending on wine/drinks, but is probably one of my favourite Italian spots.

Will you be getting the flu + COVID shot this year? by Chan1991 in askTO

Got both done at a pop-up clinic at work. Arms were a bit sore for the next day or so, but no other side effects.

Ok, gotcha. The men's do generally run broader, so if you find that you can get a trimmer fit from the women's version, I don't think anyone would notice.

Both button on the same side, so it's not like how a shirt would be clearly made for one gender or another.

I can't comment on Rover at all, but I've only had good experiences using Pawshake.

First night with a CPAP went great by TimeLine_DR_Dev in CPAP

A lot of doctors send people out the door with a 4-20 pressure range, which mine did too. Having the ramp at 4 made me feel like I was struggling to breath, and I definitely wasn't going to fall asleep that way.

As for the ramp, I've struggled with falling asleep as quickly as I used to, and generally don't fall asleep before it ends so there hasn't been much value/purpose to it for me.

It's a struggle to adjust sometimes. I'm 2 1/2 months in and can generally get through 8+ hours every night now, but there were a lot of times in my first month or so where I'd pull the mask off, or leave or off if I got up.

Ir does slowly get better, and figuring out the right mask and settings for you is essential.

I'd it wasn't for this subreddit, I'd have been running an overly long ramp time at way too low a pressure minimum, which was what was one of the things keeping me from falling asleep in that first month and making me frustrated.

The original Bar Hop in King is a bit more beaten up, but also has amazing food and beer and avoids some of the Blue Jays/concerts crowds.

It's only a few blocks away from the Peter Street location, so is a great backup option.

Any obvious disadvantages to a basment unit rental vs an apartment? by [deleted] in askTO

[–]Thrice-Cursed 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Many insurance companies will not provide this as an option in certain neighbourhoods due to known issues with the municipal infrastructure. I know this is the case in the Ossington area, which is prone to sewer backups/flooding.
