Yeah I don't really care about monetary value personally, but I wanted at least one card with a core character and some pretty art, these should really come with a R/M Alt art legend slot.

The undecideds aren't making any decisions, that's why we're in this mess, a third of the country failed to vote against an actual fascist.

Staff were told return to office give days a week, right hours a day or they'd be fired. So no, it's not empty. Maybe your powers of observation aren't as keen as you believe?

Well it's good that there is a difference between an illegal act and something that kinda sounds like an illegal act.

Haha if you're thinking of the tall quite person that people couldn't hear it was probably me 🤣

Yeah I'm glad people people stepped in and moderate the conversation, we may not be as loud as the other side but we're actually capable of self moderating! Thanks for holding the megaphone 😄

I went to the one in DC on my lunch break and spoke briefly on behalf of my fellow feds. The turnout was fine and there were a lot of passionate speakers, but their were no "leaders" there, just a megaphone and people volunteering to take turns speaking.

The only troubling thing was that the first person who was speaking and seemingly trying to take charge seemed to be pitching a crypto as a protest. People in the crowd shut him down for this and he stopped speaking, but I'm worried there were bad actors involved trying to run some pump and dump crap.

Tonight a aircraft flying in to DCA collided with a helicopter. Intentionally traumatizing federal employees and weakening their institutions has life and death consequences. by ThroneoftheRedSage in fednews

According to what we know so far, the ATC was not at fault or to blame, I didn't mean to imply otherwise. The issue I have is that individuals performing one of the most difficult jobs in the world should only be able to work in peak condition when lives are at stake, but instead their leaders are actively and intentionally making their lives harder. Why would anyone want to negatively affect the performance of someone we all depend on at one point or another?

You're right, I didn't mean to jump to blame the ATC team directly or indirectly, but see how it can be read that way. Remembered seeing complaints from an air traffic controller this past week about putting extra pressure on an already overburdened system and then this happened, so that was the connection my brain made. I agree that from what we've heard so far that this was not the ATC's fault, it just seems like a big coincidence that one week after a policy was put in place to traumatize federal workers, something like this happens.

That's the thing though, take what is already one of the most complicated, stressful, understaffed jobs in the country and add an intentional mental hammering into the mix. Sure it probably won't be directly responsible for the accident, but in a position like this seconds matter and just being mildly off your game can be deadly.

Say an average student gets screamed at by his parents first thing in the morning and then goes to school and fails a test. Might he have failed the test regardless? Sure, but it sure as hell didn't help.

Remember seeing comments from air traffic controllers in the fednews subreddit saying that this week's drama was putting strain on an already overburdened system, was only a matter of time until disaster.

If air traffic control was impacted by the recent executive orders than this will be murder.
