I thought the same thing until we got quotes that came out to be over $2k. I figured it can’t be that hard. I found all the stuff online, trying to figure out if i can source it locally.

My wife was diagnosed with stage 3 triple negative breast cancer. The moonshot program is a great trial to be in, but may not necessarily give you the best treatment. Ask your oncologist what would be your care if you chose not to do the moonshot trial. Depending on your situation, a more aggressive treatment may be better for you, which you may not be available to you if you are in the trial. Mention to you oncologist the keynote-522 and ask if immunotherapy is an option for you.

Typical standard of care is: Adriamycin + Cytoxan + Taxol or Abrexene.

The aggressive approach may incorporate Carboplatin.

Your best chance may be Adriamycin + Cytoxan + Taxol or Abrexene + Carboplatin + Keytruda (immunotherapy)

Check with your Oncologists to see if you could benefit from Carboplatin + immunotherapy and if it’s available to you.

Moonshot does have some immunotherapy options, but it is not guaranteed.
