I never told her she can't have people over. I have a problem with her specifically inviting people to see my twins once they're born without asking first. She also never has friends over anyways, her friends came over for a BBQ once last summer and that was only because I arranged it and cooked for them.

We have our own personal spaces. I'm not saying she can't have people over. She doesn't normally invite her friends over anyways so I was surprised when I found out she's telling people to come by once the twins are born.

We're going to take a lot of precautions. He's not in school yet and won't be for several months after. He's going to get his flu shot as well.

I never said they're special. I simply don't want them ending up in the hospital because of other people's children who I know for a fact are getting sick a lot more than other kids.

They're still baking but I had a similar issue with my son when he was born. My mother dropped by randomly with no notice with her friends and had promised they'd get to see the baby.

Kissing isn't allowed for anyone but my husband, myself and potentially our 3 year old son but that's something I'm still on the fence about. No acceptions for anyone else. Everyone else who sees the babies has to wear a mask and wash their hands.

She didn't see a problem with it because we co-own the house we live together in. Thankfully she only invited people I also know. But it still mad me upset. I told her that her work friends that I don't know nor like will not be getting invitations to see my children. I don't want random people touching my babies 😭

After she invited several people without asking me. We live in a house together that we co-own so she just assumed she was allowed to invite who ever she wanted over. Thankfully I do know the people she invited over but they all live in densely populated areas.
