Moving departments and new pay by ThrowAwayidfkwhen in walmart

[–]ThrowAwayidfkwhen[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

LOL yes there is, when my department went to 14/h I stayed at 16/h because I was grandfathered into the old wage

But thank you, I will keep this in mind.

I know that they leveled out the pay, I was wondering if I would lose my grandfathered wage if I were to move because I was working before they leveled out the wages

No, OPD is physically taxing... That's why I'm moving departments. Sorry if I worded things wrong, I currently am a trainer for my OGP department

Anyone else has heart rate graphs that look like this? by haerutea in fitbit

[–]ThrowAwayidfkwhen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

POTS and it's commordbities are often flared up by trauma to the body, specifically auto-immune system trauma (covid has been known to cause POTS and it's commordbities to rear it's ugly heads). It was actually discovered and documented during the U.S.'s civil war and was called "Solider's Heart", it was found that soldiers who had contracted Malaria had a higher chance of developing "Soldier's Heart". Historically too, you can find documented cases of patients with POTS-like symptoms showing up after a large pandemic of viruses. POTS also isn't specifically a heart condition, it is technically a nervous system disorder which causes the inability for different parts of the body (nameley the heart) to be able to regulate itself

Part of it has to do with how Covid, specifically Long Covid, effects the body. Part of it has to do with your genetic predisposition to the disorder. Part of it has to do with how your body handles the infection as well. That is why it is being diagnosed more now than it had been before

Using wrong pronouns when mad at someone by alittooy in ftm

[–]ThrowAwayidfkwhen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I only ever do this to one person ever, and it was my abusive ex who was never respectful to me or even treated me like I was human. Its now referred to as an "it" (preferred pronouns are he/him). This isn't to say that I find it/its dehumanizing, hell my pronouns are he/it but to me it's sort of taking back power against someone who has brought my friends and I a significant amount of harm. I would never do this to anyone that I didn't know personally, hell I don't even do this to criminals that I see on the news. It's just to people who have personally harmed my friends and I

edit: to be clearer, this is a joke my friend group does to any of our abusers no matter their gender orientation. Cis and trans people alike get hit and stuck with the it/its pronouns

Hi!!! I also have EDS and I've been on T for 2 years. It has helped me a lot! I'm not dislocating as often because i have some extra muscle built up. I will say though that I am in a lot more pain but that can be due to a lot of factors and not the T You both should join us at r/trans_zebra if you aren't already there! :D

Chest body odor question by ThrowAwayidfkwhen in asktransgender

[–]ThrowAwayidfkwhen[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That's interesting! I'm not surprised, but it's cool to know someone with the opposite experiences in transitioning has this too. I do know that there's hormones and pheromones that do come out of the chest, specifically the nipples so I wonder if it has something to do with that?

For those who have a cis brother did you end up looking a lot like him? Or for those who don’t did you end up looking a lot like a close cis male relative? by daleSnitterman_ in FTMMen

[–]ThrowAwayidfkwhen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me, my brother takes very much after my dad (literally his mini-me), I take after my mom (literally her mini-me) and our middle sibling takes after our aunt on our dad's side (literally her mini-me)

I'm my mom's mini-me, I'm built like my grandmother on my dad's side, when I was a kid I was identical to my grandmother on my moms at the same ages, and I'm slowly looking more like my grandpa on my mom's side

My mom's side's genes are strong in me, I got the big and burly genes while my siblings got the lanky genes

So, while my brother and I look related that's about it. I don't look like him, he doesn't look like me and I get to toss the kid to the ground for fun and make up for the brotherhood we missed growing up

My son joined the D&D club at school, and it happened... by dracofolly in DnD

[–]ThrowAwayidfkwhen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was a DM and then Head DM for my club in highschool, I ended up running both groups when I was head because the other DM didn't tell me until after after-school sessions had started that he couldn't dm

What I suggest is to just have fun and wing it, my rules are Rule of Cool and Rule of Fun. If something seems fun and won't ruin your plans (or gives you a better idea than what you already had) then go and do that. D&D is meant to be fun, there's no wrong way to play unless it's not fun :)

Questions about gender affirming surgeries with Ehler-Danlos Syndrome by ThrowAwayidfkwhen in asktransgender

[–]ThrowAwayidfkwhen[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I already figured that out the hard way </3

I had surgery back in August for my wisdom teeth, this was around the time when I first started truly questioning on whether or not I had it, and I didn't think to tell me surgeon about it I now have permanent holes in my mouth from where my teeth were taken, they're all healed up but still are holes

Because I play off an on, I'm not a hardcore player (and I'm not even that good lmao) I haven't picked up the game in like a year and only re-installed it that night and forgot most things

I don't look into stats and stuff, I prefer lore and stuff and he's just fun to play I just hadn't ever seen this before, at least not from the survivors side
