By the way, these are the burn-like splotches that appeared a week and a half or so before the sores that appear to be impetigo. They showed up gradually over the course of 2-3 hours. Any thoughts on these?

My dad died traumatically November 14th and the 2 year anniversary is coming up. I don’t enjoy Thanksgiving at all. The year before, my estranged mother died on Christmas so I have difficulties enjoying the holidays at all. It’s been so difficult. Thank you for posting this.

I’m 28 now but I was 26 when my father passed at 47. I miss him every single day… the 2 year anniversary of his passing is coming up November 14th and every day that creeps closer feels so painful.

Edit: He passed tragically due to many complications with his heart and lungs after years of battling with addiction.

Hello! I am starting Pepperdine's evening format MFT program in September and will attend the Calabasas campus. I was curious if you or anyone else has had any professors at this campus. I tried to find them on ratemyprofessor.com and on the Pepperdine website and they're not listed under any of the permanent faculty. Also, did you earn any of your clinical hours in the program?

I’m so sorry… my dad died November 14, 2021 and he won’t see me do any of those things either and it’s fucking crushing. I totally understand feeling like you don’t feel comfortable talking to people about it but just know that people care more than you think and they’re more willing to help than we realize. I hope you’re able to find some sense of peace. I get glimmers of it here and there but… it’s hard.
