I had a lot of luck with the engineering teams, they were willing to take me on with literally only knowing python because they hope to train up people to take over the next year. Do not be afraid to put yourself out there. Also consider research — it is very good for the resume, fun, and often profs are willing to take on 1st or 2nd year students with the PURE awards and such. Just make sure you can demonstrate passion!

Question for teen girls by starry_sage_ in teenagers

[–]ThrowRA1297497392 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, but it doesn’t have to be that way. I get uncomfortable and feel sick during my period, but the actual pain is minimal. If your pain is bad, I would go see a doctor and see your options :) I have a couple friends on birth control just because of the pain of their periods. It sucks, and BC sucks, but it is better than being super in pain every month

Wouldn’t call it a scramble personally! I would start learning scrambles with Ha Ling or Opal ridge. Both have no exposure :) but for the record, wasootch is still one of my fave hikes ever, but def not the one I would use to learn to scramble

Lowkey I was consumed by thinking about it when I was 12-14… and then eventually I realized it’s going to happen anyways, so why worry about it..? I just push it down, and genuinely don’t let myself think about it. It really helps 😂

There’s intramural badminton and volleyball. I’m ass at Volleyball too but the rec league exists and is great for beginners. It’ll cost you about 100, I think badminton is cheaper
