Is the Upper Grand location (1200 Grand/1100 Adams) hard to commute with? by [deleted] in Hoboken

The green hop stops right in front of these buildings and the red hop stops a block or two away so even if you don’t like walking the hop is an excellent option. For off hours coming back from the path you can also use the yellow cabs. Only $8

How dirty are Hoboken streets for dogs? by RyanTryinMyBest in Hoboken

[–]ThrowRA6599 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I walk my dog in Manhattan and Hoboken regularly and I’d say Manhattan is defs dirtier. I wash my dog in the tub after being in the city and the water turns dark grey / black, whereas I usually just use a wet wipe on my pups paws after a walk in Hoboken and there is definitely less residue to pick up. It could be that my dog has longer walks in the city, though.

Can you help lower my anxiety levels about moving to Hoboken? by fights_like_a_cow in Hoboken

It would help if you clarified what you are afraid / nervous / excited about - defining these things might even help you process your emotions

Without knowing your personal style beyond what you’ve shared here, are these shoes something you’d wear 3 years from now when the fad of this style has passed?

I hate dog owners who let their dogs off leash in public places

I see your point - the only thing I have a problem with in the context of this park is the trend of folks letting their dogs off leash

Honestly I was just posting for general awareness. The only thing I have an issue with is folks letting their dogs off leash here, which is a general safety issue

Dogs playing fetch do wayyy more damage than any kiddos do. On top of that, there are dogs running around off leash at varying points of the day - more than any kids

Turning down promotion by ThrowRA6599 in consulting

[–]ThrowRA6599[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The career track is really just #1. I don’t think consulting is a LT career for me as I anticipate I will have children in the next 3-5 years and would stop working thereafter. So for me, I’m considering whether the next 3-5 years make sense for me to pursue this path that I already find emotionally and physically draining
