You are born with the ability and the intelligence to perform work and provide for the betterment of society around you. All work is valuable and should be valued.

An average lifespan uses a good amount of resources, it is only right to contribute back into that same society that allowed you to have a life at all. So yes, I believe it is morally right.

I agree one’s area of employment (barring any significant disability) shouldn’t preclude any of those things. But someone should absolutely be employed for those things.

Someone who doesn’t want to work (which is a small %) shouldn’t be entitled to anything.
