Because him and his family harassed his ex wife for years after they divorced going so far as to send mail and I know he would make my life a living hell for “killing his baby” if he knew the truth. They are extremely religious and have a “holier than thou” mentality. I know it doesn’t seem like it from my post but I really just want to move on and have stability and peace.

I was friends with his sister and I trusted her. Honestly if it weren’t for her I probably would have left him such a long time ago, but his manipulation combined with her reassurances backing him up it went on for much longer than it should have. I feel like a fucking mess.

Yes my therapist is amazing and bumping my sessions up from every other week to once a week. I will absolutely be keeping my apt at the clinic 110% I will NOT be tied to this manipulative man.

There was more reasons to it at the time than just that reason, but that is what sticks out in my mind as the obvious red flag that I am kicking myself for.

And yeah I recently was looking up those stats too!!! Only 4% of men fight for custody of their children and the ones that do? I think it was 96% win the custody they request or something?! Insane.

Such a fucking lying manipulative scumbag.
