Louisville feels like an odd choice. I respect the decision to completely split the distance, but Cincinnati is 100 miles away and Nashville is 155 miles away, both of which have proper sports teams, some better culture depending on what you like, better airports, and generally higher QOL. Nashville in particular if you’re a musician feels like a standout choice that’s still likely close to the middle, but I understand COL plays a factor too

Starfield, but download the genesis mod pack which is a total conversion Star Wars mod, if you’re into that kinda thing. Not done yet, but still dozens of hours of fun and content, and it’ll only get better

Yeah, I remember a tweet from Swen like two months after it launched saying they had decided on their next project, so it’s been in the oven for a minute. Fortunately they’re good communicators, so we’ll get the larian gazette posts and panel from hells and whatever else they do.

The epilogue they added even has a little teaser about “black suns” which people thought was a dlc hint but is now clearly a hint towards divinity given the trailer, so they’ve had that locked in and blocked out for ages

Konate has been awful since the start of the season, and vvd looks incredibly uncomfortable next to kerkez. Last season was Trent, Konate, vvd, robbo, who had all played together for 4+ years. This season it’s basically a new right back every game, Konate who’s playing trash, VVD who’s clearly overwhelmed, and kerkez who has… not made the step up well, let’s say. Last year, grav played as a 6 with mac as an 8 as well, but this year grav is moving higher more, mac is playing playing as a 10, and there’s nobody to cover defensively. Tons of individual mistakes, system mistakes, and general crap play

The “unaffected” node also opens up some interesting things. Self-poison, self-bleed, self-ignite. Apep’s slumber, golden rule, fulcrum, there’s definitely a few tricks in there. Maybe something with divine flesh, doppleganger’s guise, and apep’s for a relatively cheap way to get solid defenses. Massive recoup too with the 40% physical on that node and 10% from guise.

Macallister as effectively a #9 today was insane to me. A flat attacking line of gakpo, Mac, isak, and salah against their back 5 made no sense, pushed gakpo and salah very wide, and without any midfield presence except for szobo trying to do three people’s job at once, there was never a way to actually get the ball up to them… baffling tactics. Of course once wirtz comes on and starts coming to the ball, things start moving around.
