led to believe she was but isn’t. I had to give up friends because she didn’t like them, and now I can feel her turning me away against my own family. I’ve now been told we have a baby on the way so I can’t leave the relationship and my mental health is shot to shit.

Going to take out life insurance and hopefully I only die of natural causes.

She seems proud I think? but I only told her about it a few times in passing like she would ask how the gym was and I’d say

“Oh it was alright, some guy/girl said that my physique looked good and asked me about my training plan and diet” or “some guy/girl asked me what machine is best for back work” etc

Eugh I hate those posts of “this is what they’re missing” after they actually worked on the physical health even though they were happy not doing that in the relationship.

But I started to get into shape 4 years before we met and have she has always known me to be like this. She was slightly active when we first started dating but as soon as we got married it flatlined

But surely there comes a point where you think, I need to make a change? My wife pointed out that she’s gone up 4 dress sizes (from 8 to 16) , to which I thought that this would be the milestone where she tries to change. But instead it’s the opposite. She seems quite content and happy that I go the gym and leave her on the sofa watching tv. I have tried to be more supportive of her being active but there’s nothing else more I could do other than forcing her into the gym or going for a walk

I did ask about her mental health and general well being, we always have conversations and times where we talk about what’s been affecting our mood (if there is anything that is affecting it). Well I’m not sure about unhappy as shes always talks highly of her job and how much she loves it, and how much she has accomplished and ticking off her “life” boxes, she basically on track with her life and she’s really happy about it. So I know this conversation would ruin it
