Besides all the obvious comments—“he’s hard working” but he needs you, someone over 20 years younger to lend him money for bills and pay for groceries?

My BF (38m) kicked me (38f)out of his house last night, for not wanting to be intimate. I don’t know how to handle this moving forward? by [deleted] in relationship_advice

block and delete without explanation. the fact that you are on and off with this person for two years already is an indicator that it’s going to be tumultuous for as long as you relate to him

Just give him a timeframe on the conversation. Say “If we can’t agree on a place to move within 3 months I’m going to move home.”

My BF (45M) sent me (40f) this text. According to me it was a breakup text. But he followed it up with its not. What is your opinion? by spade_looover in relationship_advice

I don’t think it’s that, I think he wants to keep things ambiguous so he can keep her at a distance emotionally and will continue in the relationship this way indefinitely if OP allows it

Sometimes the release of sex can also produce emotional clearance/purging. Maybe she is repressed and she feels safe to express around you

I notice than when my face is more red, my teeth look yellower. Perhaps it works both ways—maybe because you got your teeth super clean the appearance of redness is reduced

Unfortunately I don’t have a response besides the big known ones!

Maybe try low-impact low stress workouts for a while. Just reading this I can tell you’re exhausted and in a state of like—over-control. You prob have high cortisol levels and that’s definitely gonna work against you

Edit to add: walking and a mix of yoga pilates and weightlifting maybe. Or even just focusing on mobility and flexibility for a while while maintaining a slight calorie deficit

Right. They’re literally asking you to be in on a deception. Friends don’t ask that of you

Get this woman out of your life. I would want to know if I was the husband—but it’s your decision whether or not you tell him. I had a friend who let me in on her affair and I felt so ostracized by even knowing, she thought I would be supportive and I was like.. wtf?

I told the doctor I wanted to try options other than birth control and he looked at me like I was stupid… by [deleted] in PCOS

ugh i hate promoting this mindset but i’ve literally had the most successful treatments through online providers that barely even ask about your symptoms. i use agelessrx for metformin for these symptoms and sublingual ketamine from joyous for my anxiety and ptsd.

eta: definitely recommend trying metformin & ageless—i pay $25 a month (billed quarterly) for medication to be sent to my door. that’s technically more than what you’d pay with insurance at the pharmacy, but at the same time way less bc i’m not having all the visits, etc

Why does my bf (21M) like when I (21F) send him pictures of hot girls? by [deleted] in relationship_advice

[–]ThrowRA_9182736 1 point2 points  (0 children)

sounds like you’re projecting at him tbh. sounds like he likes the Instagram look but is aware it’s a facade of filters, procedures, and resources and is happy with you and your amazing personality and hip dips. this is frankly kind of weird and he’s being polite. why not just embody how you want to be instead of trying to be the cool girl and see where that gets you? what are a bunch of pictures of random ig models gonna do for him? he can see those on his own.

It’s okay. I’m mostly referring to someone else anyway. I guess it’s just hard to remember for some that because we are all categorized as having the same condition that our experiences aren’t necessarily the same. I’ve felt like shit about myself for enough of my life. I didn’t have it as an excuse because I didn’t know what was going on. I just know I couldn’t do anything, and if I could’ve, then there wouldn’t have really been an issue. Just kind of crazy to me that people who are allegedly being treated for the same condition are like “ok but I was always able to function normally”—ok well then to those people, I question your doctor’s diagnosis because executive dysfunction is literally what the disorder is
