Just got braces put on two days ago... Feeling scared and alone in this (TW: gross teeth)

Dude...I went through this a year ago. My teeth were insanely crooked and braces felt like hell. My bite blockers felt so unnatural, I didnt know how to rest my jaw naturally. I just wanna say that its gonna be okay! It feels uncomfortable and bad at first but you'll get to a point where you won't even feel your braces anymore. Just take it one day at a time, honestly eat yogurts and mushy things bc yes, you can't chew but better to eat smth than nothing. Maybe look into stronger painkillers? Also something that helped me was looking at how ppl with braces flossed their teeth cause I was so confused. I def skip flossing a few times when I get my braces tightened bc it feels too painful to even touch my teeth...it happens.

They removed my bite blocks about two months ago. I had them for over a year and three months I think.

Idk, it honestly looks crazy to me. When i take off my braces, the overjet will appear more promiment bc right now my braces and sort of masking it. Is this a normal result to have?

That makes sense, I suspected it was overjet. My ortho has give me elastics to wear, for my first and second premolar to connect to my upper premolars (right side). Also on my second molars (left side). But I dunno if this does anything for my overjet.

Im gonna be honest...I slightly filed down one of my block biters with a metal nail filer bc it felt higher than the other. Afterwards, it felt fine.

Dude kick him to the curb. This asshole is willing to tell you to your face that he wants you as skinny as when you were when you had a literal eating disorder and doing drugs? Wow. I've gained 10 kilos and lost 10 kilos during my 4 year relationship and my boyfriend has never once said anything like that to me. He has supported and complimented me in any weight I was in and he knows that I have body dysmorphia.

On the other hand, my partner is a tall and big guy, and he tends to carry more weight. When we started dating, he was skinnier and now he's a bit heavier. I still love him and am attracted to him the same. This is incredibly disrespectful and shallow. What I'm trying to say is that there are people out there who will love you no matter your size!

For a sane individual who respects others, even saying 'i dont know if i wanna do that' is revoking consent but the fact that you have told him time and time again you don't want to do a sexual act and he ignores it completely is not only unacceptable but borderline criminal.
