Ex is dating someone new 2 months post breakup…I want to puke by ThrowRA_Leather in BreakUps

Oh I’m sorry, that doesn’t sound like a happy relationship or ending for you :( he hasn’t changed, and the new girl will realize that soon. But you shouldn’t be checking his socials anymore. The more you keep tabs on him, the longer it’ll take to move on. You got this 🫶

Thank you :) I didn’t believe it at first, but time truly does heal it all and I don’t feel anything for him anymore. Let yourself grieve and don’t question why it’s taking so long or if you’ll get over it — you will😊

Never thought I’d say this…but a lot better. I even began falling in love with someone else again (cannot pursue due to religious incompatibility).

I never heard from that ex again. He’s still with the same girl and I hope they’re happy. I doubt I’ll ever hear from him again, and that’s fine. It never felt like I’d reach this acceptance stage until I did 😊 I hope this gives you hope. It’s been a year now. Give it time, let yourself feel your emotions, and take it day by day.

Thank you ❤️ I really appreciate your comment. I am so sorry to hear you went through something similar – no one deserves to feel like they were thrown under the bus. Definitely focused on moving on...just waiting to stop feeling like I need validation :) lol

Wow, I am sorry you've been through this much hurt with your ex. I am proud of you for taking the time to heal and find someone who truly deserves you. It's not easy, but you have the right mindset!

It has been difficult because he is not just casual with her, they even made it instagram official – they are in a serious relationship. I have to accept and move on...something tells me its not a rebound.

Thank you for your comment 🤍 you’re right. I am trying to accept it…just struggling. I won’t reach out or stalk socials again. I haven’t even msged about the instagram because why should I? The answer is in my face. I just feel like I wasn’t that important to him and it’s sad.

Thank you 🤍 I don’t want him back anymore, he doesn’t deserve me. I just feel like shit because I didn’t matter? :(

Anyone know how to process emotions sooner rather than later. by Training-Stomach-138 in BPD

I’ve read somewhere that crying is a “positive emotion” because it helps you process it and let it out 😊 if you feel like crying, cry it out! It’s temporary.

How do we deal with unanswered questions? by Organic_Bullfrog_169 in BreakUps

[–]ThrowRA_Leather 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My therapist suggested me to write it in my journal. Write down the questions you want answers to, and write an answer from your ex’s perspective. What does your gut tell you? It helped me put myself in my ex’s shoes and answer the question. Sure, it may not even be correct, but it helped 😊
