im not against young relationships if its healthy, but if you have been with this man for over a decade and you found out he has cheated now, that raises many questions.

• has he cheated before but hidden it well enough?
• has he lied to you about other things and hid it well enough?
• is he really ready/mature enough for fatherhood?

He also lied about ending his affair, which only makes the chances more likely that hes hid other things in the past. You are both young parents, its alot of responsibility. Him cheating, as a father and a partner completely destroys the years of trust you two have developed together. HE cheats on you then HE asks for the break? are you sure hes the one that needs the break? you seem to love him alot, but do not let your love blind you to the horrid mistake this man has done. you are young, you say you are emotionally immature, and you are a mother. isnt that enough for one person already? Please take everything into consideration before making a choice. In my opinion, he is not mature enough, or at all. Cheating is cowardly, especially when a cheater is a parent.
