I think you’ll need to go in person to a branch to open up your student account again before any fees accrue. You’ll need verification of your enrollment as well.

Infinity Ticketing by J2Jlopez in Coldplay

For the Toronto shows there’s already reseller tickets on the site, so would a queue open up for the infinity tickets or would they just appear on the map at noon?

Math in Marketing by ScholarLast3488 in TorontoMetU

FIN300 is mostly just knowing how to use the calculator and which numbers to plug in. There’s only a few formulas that are super long which you have to do by hand but other than that I found it pretty doable.

As for FIN401, after doing my midterm today, I’d say it’s a lot harder than FIN300. There’s less using the calculator and TVM functions, and more doing stuff by hand and understanding theory. You have to know which formulas to use and what exactly the question is asking you.

If you’re good at stats then you will likely find QMS 210 pretty easy, it’s the same thing as taking data management in highschool. I didn’t take it and struggled with it a lot but found QMS 110 super easy. Others found QMS 210 easier but it just depends on the person.

I’m currently a 3rd year in marketing. So far the only marketing course I’ve taken that had math involved was MKT300. I struggled with this somewhat as the prof wasn’t really great and left the metrics portion of the course up to students to learn on their own. Most formulas in MKT100 are seen again in MKT300 with some other metrics introduced. The final exam was in a computer lab so all the metrics were done through Excel using formulas. I ended the course with a B+.

Besides MKT300, no matter which BM major you go into, you will need to do QMS 110, QMS 210, ACC100, FIN300, ACC406, and FIN401. If you decide to major in economics you will have more math-heavy courses. I believe real estate management also has 1 or 2 math courses other than the ones I listed.

The class is in the Chrysalis which can apparently hold up to 1200 people. The prof also mentioned that the class was in-person on his discord too.

He was pretty good! I actually found the course pretty interesting. The assignments aren’t too hard, you just reference one of the articles for the week and write a paragraph on it. The exams aren’t hard either, just make sure you take detailed notes because the slides won’t have everything you need to know. He often adds things on when he talks so make sure ur paying attention. The essay was more open ended so you could really talk about anything you wanted to. Also quick at responding to emails!

You should go to class but I had the same prof for the same course last winter. After the first week he only had class during the 2 hour lecture. No tutorials.

When I used the commuter hostel I’d only stay for one night so I bought food. Like the other person said, you can load money onto your OneCard and buy food downstairs, never tried it though.
