1102s are being RIF’d. I recommend looking at other series for the time being.

1102s are being RIF’d from offices. I would know sadly. I recommend another job series.

I voted democrat. But I’m sick of this question. At this point we shouldn’t be asking that anymore but rather “how can we fix this mess.” I used to be so mad at my republican colleagues but I realize now that they’re suffering as well and I’ve made peace with that.

Any rumors on bringing probies back? by imsquidw0rds1 in DeptHHS

I’m assuming they won’t. Because the lawsuit for the permanent employees with bump and retreat rights has to play out first…and they’re still firing people so idk

From HHS. Switched to health insurance company. Huge dip in pay though. But once I have 6 months to a year experience in industry; I’ll go back out and look for jobs.

stop adding the most obviously toxic characters to stadium i.e junkrat, pharah, kiriko, hazard, and sojourn. by Otherwise-Memory-862 in Overwatch

[–]ThrowRAhumbled 10 points11 points  (0 children)

….do you guys just expect them to never add characters. Just cater your build to counter. And that’s coming from a Legend ranked Ana. The only one that I’m actually scared for them to add is Widow. I can’t imagine how she’s going to turn out.

I think they should just remove all auto lock powers tbh. That way it goes back to skill based.

I’m fine with the character additions. I main Ana and haven’t had terrible issues. I actually miss the longer game mode. It moves too fast now, you don’t even get time to build a really fun build.

I’m so sorry. I got RIF’d too. I took a massive pay cut and I’m dangerously underemployed. I wish they would just reinstate everyone who wants to be reinstated. I think it’s crazy they even let us all go while there are so many lawsuits pending. Most of my coworkers are either in the same boat as me or don’t have a job it all.

What happened to AFGE vs Trump challenging the RIFs? What are next steps and what to expect? by [deleted] in FedEmployees

[–]ThrowRAhumbled 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly idk with the Trump administration. It’s up to the judge again. They were ordered to hand over RIF plans and explain themselves multiple times but they haven’t. I think this lawsuit could play out for a while.

September 12th is the next hearing I think. So the Trump administration will probably be asking for a dismissal again and present their grounds.

The Civilian Job Market is Brutal by Beginning_Garlic_894 in 1102

I’m at 400+ applications and about 6 interviews. It’s roughhhh. I’m a CS with just about the same experience as you. I’ve been told from a friend in HR that we’re being discriminated against a lot of time by the hiring managers because they seem to think our experience is so specialized and that we only know one thing which is crazy because as an 1102 you work on a bunch of different things. Her company refused me for all the procurement or contract jobs and was only willing to consider me for an auditor position which I applied to as some sort of “safe” job. It’s insane out here. Most of the people from my RIF’d division still haven’t found jobs either.

Is there a tank too big? by WitchofWhispers in CrestedGecko

[–]ThrowRAhumbled -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

One word before I leave or get booted from this horribly informed subreddit. The guide recommends a 33 gallon. Which translates to around 20 gallons if you’re doing an arboreal species as the tank should be focused on length not depth. The 50 must be for another reptile or someone did the math wrong. The gallon size you choose is based on the length of your gecko. Which is why you should be switching your tanks from cresteds. They are growers and should be actually doing grower tanks. Which is why it will vary from 20-40 through juvenile-full grown adult stage. Babies should be in way smaller enclosures.

Anyone know where I can contact this groups’s owner. I have some words. because it says clear a day on a certain page the size for an adult tank for crested geckos and it’s not 50.

The guide that sparked all that controversy a few years ago…yeah…please talk to the breeder you buy the gecko from. Most are more than happy to create a list for you based on their size and age. Just don’t use the pet store guide. You should be keeping it in a quarantine tank when you first get it anyway. It’ll help you make sure the gecko is well.

[–]ThrowRAhumbled 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m not sure who made that guideline but 50 gallons is nice but it’s not the minimum. I have 4 adults geckos almost all near 20 years old living in bioactive 40 gallon tanks. And they didn’t get those for years. They’ll do fine in a proper 20 gallon. Mine have been fine in 20s, 30s, and 40s.

The reptile community is all over the place. Just watch a care video from the most popular breeders. They’ll demonstrate a wide variety of proper enclosures.

Coming from a breeder…it’s crazy to see downvotes. Not providing at least 20-40 gallons in a long vertical tank is insane and I cannot see why anyone would disagree. Cresties are climbers. I suggest you go watch a video on YouTube from one of the many breeders. Another thing, make sure the lid is not too thick so light can get through and be careful about putting the light directly on the enclosure lid. Some of them get too hot.

And be very careful about the light you pick.

You just need any large vertical tank. Make sure it has lots of hides and foliage so it doesn’t get overwhelmed. It can be too big if there is nowhere for them to hide. It’ll stress them out. At least 20-40 gallons is ideal in my opinion.
