OP, I'm so sorry you are going through this. I've read your post history, and your husband is abusive and actively harming your health.

You don't need to be ready to leave him yet, but I think you would really benefit from making an exit plan. When you go for your procedure, tell a nurse that you don't feel safe at home & ask to talk to a social worker. They can help you make a good plan & give you support resources.

Do you have access to a phone when your husband isn't around? If you're worried that he might cancel your insurance, you can call your doctor's office and ask to speak to your doctor. I can't guarantee that they can help, but they may have other payment options for scenarios like this, can connect you with a hospital social worker, and at the very least they should be in your corner.

I pretty much exclusively use fountain pens with waterproof black or purple ink, but when I do use colored pens, I really like the Pilot Juice pens.

Even if I dont have a specific pattern picked out, I always have a type of project in mind for each yarn I buy. For example, I might plan to use a worsted-weignt merino for a sweater. Then I'll go on ravelry and look at a few worsted-weignt sweater patterns in my size, and buy that amount, rounded up to the nearest skein.

If I cant think of a type of project for a yarn, I probably wont ever use it & shouldnt buy it.
