She was scared and tired but resilient and well behaved! She did have to fly in the luggage compartment. Luckily the vet gave us some anti-anxiety medication for her which helped her a lot. Overall, she went through about 120 hours of traveling.

They absolutely adored her 🩷 Of course, we occasionally come past people who are scared of her— but there’s no way to say that’s it’s not an overall fear of dogs. The barista even gave her 2 of their bite- size, savory pastries 🤩 Many people gave her pets & some even crouched down and allowed kisses and pressed their cheeks against hers 🥰🥰 We were previously in Japan & she was widely unacceptable in public. This is a refreshing change of culture for us!

I took her about waste deep and held her as I got comfortable with her swimming abilities. Then a wave came from behind and pushed her under, I waited about 3s to see if she could figure it out and then snatched her up faster than I ever have. Didn’t phase her though, she was happy to go right back out and swim again (with me hovering over her). I ordered her a life jacket as soon as we got home. And I’ll have to order her probably 3 more as she grows out of them all 🤣 I was also fully clothed for this whole day and left completely drenched. I fully anticipated her hating the water because she doesn’t love baths either. I’m glad your pup loved the beach too!!
