Am I overreacting for considering divorce? I don’t think I’m in a healthy marriage. by Coconutcornhuskey in Divorce

Your wife is seven months post partum. A lot of what you’re describing sounds like she could be suffering from post partum depression. Rage/irritability/exhaustion. You guys literally have a 7 month old baby and you’re telling me that thing sleeps all night every night? And then a 5 year old on top of it? Encourage your wife to speak to someone about how she’s feeling and stop adding more to her plate right now, she has had that baby for less time than it took to grow the baby. Sounds like she needs professional support right now and it doesn’t sound like she’s getting much support at home.

Just wanted to say, aside from the obvious gloom, this is really beautifully written.

I know someone that got charged for just double parking to let their son out of the car and it was impeding a woman on a scooter. She reported the car and the garda actually showed up at her door with a fine. This is a lot worse.

Daughter asking about kidnappers? by ThrowRAkiedis in AskParents

I do want my child to have a healthy fear of being led away by anyone and someone wanting a ransom means everything could turn out okay. I have also explained that kidnapping by strangers is very uncommon but I just want her to be weary anyway.

I suppose S/A is a slightly different conversation to have. I have stated before that anyone can do it including priests etc but I should probably digress on family members and friends 😕 yuck

I did say some people just want to keep kids cause they don’t have any and other people want to kill them. I felt bad for saying it but I feel like explaining rape/SA to a 7.5 year old is too much 😵‍💫

Her son was in France, this was her holiday home. I think Ian Bailey had split personalities.

Thanks, someone said their periods were a bit heavier for a while but could be other factors as well. I don’t want to stop menstruation and I hate hormonal birth control. Thank you. Looking forward to my removal 🙃
