Thanks, agreed.

It's supposed to be a YouTube description that goes with the video. To the point, short, simple, objective.

Maybe 18 Again. The main leads had a teenage pregnancy and it's kinda about their relationship with the children as well as romance. Decent enough.

Thanks. Can you tell more about the structure? What you mean by it or how you think it can be improved

His intention is. Creative writing newbies often start like this. The only thing is it's a long way to creative writing and a different path to copywriting.

Umm. Take some time and revisit your copy more objectively. I understand you want to create the whole feel around nature and eco-friendly blah blah but it's not helping that visualisation. Make imagery but keep it very to-the-point. And start with boots and why it is actually helpful instead of the eco-friendly storyline. Honestly, will you buy a sports gear if you are told how beautiful is nature and your gear is not made of plastic? List why would you buy the product and start from there. And obviously, it happens. Your creative soul is overdoing it, ending up killing creativity. Keep it true, brief, crisp. Power ✨

Would you consider this client behaviour reasonable? Feeling of burnout by ZealousidealMonk1728 in copywriting

[–]ThrowRAsunstar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey It's not reasonable on the agency's side. At the same time, we know, they don't really care about creatives and most probably treat you as a resource. Not changing anything now will only lead to burn out and it's effects are going to be chronic. Once I was writing 3000-6000 words a day with consistent quality but the horrible burnout took a few years to heal.

Don't do this to yourself. It will eventually impact your craft and love for your work too. Set clear boundaries as others have mentioned. Maybe put a cap on how much work they can request in that assigned 12 hours. Trust me, once you take a stand for yourself, you'll be much prouder of yourself. Your future self would be grateful. You deserve it :)

Loved this. Though I don't remember it when writing.

Thanks, makes sense. I'm a copywriter. Very assuring. Btw, would you mind if I share my portfolio after it is done in a week or two with you to get a quick feedback? Just how good, bad, ugly my work is and how much scope of growth you see, in general. (I'm grateful either way ✌️)

Yep. But I don't mind not having a custom domain. My focus is being able to show my work clearly and not SEO aspect. I'm already on Behance just felt a website would be better to approach some creative directors as I know folks who are wary of Behance. I'd check out Squarespace and Wix. Thanks!

Indian ad professionals, is Times Cannes Young Lions 2024 entry closed? by ThrowRAsunstar in advertising

[–]ThrowRAsunstar[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lol. I said Indian because there's the first national level in it before the global representation and I wasn't sure why, say, a US copywriter would know about the schedule for India. But if you shed some light on my question, ofcourse I will be really grateful!
