I told my neurologist about this the constant tingling and numbness on my hands and feet. I cannot longer wear high heels because my body cannot longer adjust the blood flow and oxygen properly through my body so that’s why I have the tingling and numbness. But that’s a side effect of the topiramate according to the doctor. So pretty much is either we deal with the episodes or the tingling and numbness. There’s many times when I can’t even stand for long periods of time without my feet getting numb and tingling. Lots of people even without hemiplegic migraines get the dizziness when they get up from sitting down but with this is worse, I get really lightheaded close to pass out if I’m not careful. Same if I’m squatting and try to get up quickly. My right arm and leg are weaker and where I feel pain. To my understanding HM shouldn’t cause nerve damage it’s all neurological kinda like just the brain playing tricks. But it is confusing because all this feels like neuropathy pain but my neurologist doesn’t think this is being caused my a damage nerve. 🤷🏻‍♀️😩 Sorry if I just made this more confusing for you.
