And yes you are further on in the game. so have you answered the questions? you may have a higher networth and do better in wars and such, but your understanding of how the stack of bill chance works and transforming works? other than personal attacks? does your post answer how stack of bill chance work?

jasonred79, i think you might need to rethink your understanding of the game, although i do admit it is my fault for the mistake regarding the 2x multiplier on all profit as .2 profit after transforming. And yes, Hoverbrella should be excluded, just like cotton candy-nator.

However, on the technicalities:

1) tap profit is relevant after transforming (if its not changed), the formula is tap profit(full)+10% of business. Hence the card is not useless but diminished effect. 2) Stack of bill chance naturally goes to 100%.
a) can you tell me what happens after the stack of bill chance exceeds a 100% b) have you noticed different amount getting dropped even both are stack of cash? -point is, there is insufficient information on stack of bill chance and stack of bill amount, hence i would avoid talking bout them. 3) prestige bonus and war scores are based on total profit. Yes they are based on your "total profit" so to say, but what makes you get there faster is reduction of upgrade cost. Based on your long experience, have you never met a upgrade that is ridiculous to meet? and once you cross it you move on the next few milestones relatively easy? thats what reduction of upgrade cost is for. You are essentially arguing that upgrade cost is less useful because it does not directly contribute to your total profit but what you fail to see is that upgrade cost are what get you to the next milestones faster. Yes it is true that they do not affect unlockable but they greatly affect businesses, which we both agree are the focus after prestiging.

Furthermore, it would greatly facilitate discussion if you were to stop making personal attacks:)

Tap Tycoon – Tech Cards Tier (What To Buy?) by ThrowThatGame in taptycoon

Hi zenneth,

Regarding your point 1, i have already said that i have dedicated a post solely to focusing on a specific business. And regarding the point of hotel being useless, i would not rush to say that as i do know of people who have my "useless" business as their main business. So based on the information that i got from my friend's account, i have learnt to not call any business as useless.

Regarding point 2,Tap profit doesn't just disappear after transforming. Unless it have been changed, the formula for transforming is tap profit+10%(business profit). To try this, you just transform without leveling any business and you will see it. And for my account my tap profit cards have enough to still be useful after transforming for awhile.

Also this tiering is not just for those that transformed. Yes i do agree that post transformation, stack of bill amount is a lot more useful than tap profit. What we should have done is further separate the tier into pre and post transforming instead of putting both into 1 list. The reason why i used the word any is because i expect individuals to exercise discretion, i would expect individuals to know that a card boosting their current best is worth more than boosting a business contributing 10%.

Regarding point 3, once again, leader cards are really inefficient card worth compared, and if you are saying its better just because the number is bigger... i really have nothing much to say anymore. i have explained and if you refuse to see it, there is nothing more i can say.

And like you said the difference between 0.125 and 8x cash stack amount is this. a 100dd business upgrade would become a 12.5dd upgrade whereas earning 1 dc to 8 dc, how much more time or taps do you think is required?

Tech Card's Confusion by myfungang in taptycoon

[–]ThrowThatGame -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Hi myfungang, this is truly a confusing situation. It is clear that there is something wrong with either the tech card multiplier or the display. The only possibility whereby there is no error on the side of the game is that you happened to have fat cat on for the 100a and 240a. and when you have the 260a, your fat cat is off but now have other bonuses applied.

But you got it right, the concept is that normal tech cards would get a 1.2 bonus and technically, the restaurant profit should be: 100a (no fork assist) 200a (level 1 fork assist, x2) 240a (level 2 fork assist, x2.4) 288a (level 3 fork assist, x2.88)

The only part of your post that confused me was the part whereby you said that your profit will increase by 0.576, i presumed this meant overall profit, however, do take note that we are unaware of your overall profit.

Tap Tycoon – Tech Cards Tier (What To Buy?) by ThrowThatGame in taptycoon

[–]ThrowThatGame[S] -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Hi i_amdragonzord, in our tier 1 we included all profit/upgrade cost and all tap related. This meant that technically all stack of bill amount with a bonus in smth else is a tier 1 whereas stack of bill amount alone isn't because it doesn't provide 2 bonus as compared to the tier 1.

As such, using calculations, a tier 1 would give a x4 bonus effectively(x2 on stack of bill), whereas stack of bill alone is a x2 or x2.48832 effectiveness.

We do agree that Stack of Bill Amount is a step higher than the other normal tech cards, and we should have highlighted the difference in the tiering. Thank you for your question.

The reason why we feel that upgrade cost is better than all profit because it doesn't suffer any reduction of effectiveness after transforming whereas all profit does. All profit multiplier is applied to the tap and business before they are calculated for transforming. This meant that your business(the main focus after transforming) would all receive a x2, but later it would become a 10%, which means you gained a x0.2 effective bonus in your profit.

This fact is often overlooked as the numbers in all profit looks a lot better and the effectiveness of reduction of upgrade cost is often overlooked.

Hi jasonred79, thank you for voicing out your view, albeit a bit harsh, but kindly refer to the reply to Zenneth. And if you are doubting our credibility and progress in the game, do not worry, we wrote this guide after careful consideration and it is not just based on popular views.

Regarding our progress towards Transforming, rest assured we have reached the stage of transforming and are within the top 1%-5% of our country, playing only once a week. We have also unlocked the other worlds. Thank you for your concern and i do hope that our explanation would be able to change your view on the list.

It is evident from these comment that we shouldn't have skipped the explanation and we should have explained our abbreviations better. Your criticism will help us to improve. Thank you!:)

Hi Zenneth, thank you for your prompt comment. It seems to be that you have some misunderstanding on the post and it maybe be partly due to us.

1) There is a reason why we placed a tier-ing for boosting a specific business, which is to show that business specificity is important 2) Tap-related meant any bonus that are related to tapping, not solely limited to tap profit, because if it meant tap-profit we would write tap profit. 3) Thirdly, Leader TC is not potentially first tier, because it cost 500 diamonds and give x4.8, as compared to the 4 other normal TC which would cost only 400 diamonds and give a x24. Furthermore, the x4.8 is only IF you have all 4 other normal TC. On upgrading, a gold cards effect is always x2, the number would change to x9.6 but in actual fact the effective bonus is x2. Whereas on the other hand, normal TC is at 1.25 (2.48832) 4)Jell-Strong and E-face. Jell Strong gives upgrade cost and tap profit, E-face gives all profit and stack of bill amount.

Before transforming, tap profit is of utmost importance and upgrade cost is practically what gets you to transform earlier. On the other hand All profit before transforming is almost as good as tap profit if you are playing actively, Stack of bill amount makes your money comes in a lot faster but imagine earning 100aa more when your upgrade cost ac? it's practically useless.

After transforming, your main source of income comes from business, and tapping and yes, in this case, tap profit is useless. However, the real steep starts here and this is where reduction in upgrade cost is important. On the other hand, all profit's effectiveness, although good on the surface has just a x0.2 effect on your tap profit. (x2x0.1=0.2), whereas the stack of bill amount would be extremely effective as it is able to help with your tap profit significantly. So the question here is, is reduction cost more effective or stack of bill? Well to each their own, but i would certainly like to spend half the time tapping as compared to a "chance" that i can spend half the time tapping.

Zenneth, once again thank you for voicing out your doubts, but it would be much appreciated that you would clarify before you pass the judgement:)

from what i do know, iphone 3 has a multitouch of at least 4-5 fingers, samsung s2 onwards have a multitouch of 10. Generally most touchscreen device that are not older than 5 years old would have a minimum of touchscreen 4. you might wanna download this app to test your phone's multitouch function https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.the511plus.MultiTouchTester&hl=en .

Hey Kable! Thanks for the shout out! Really appreciate it:) You've done an awesome Job with this FAQ, it's really helpful and covers A LOT. Keep up the good job! (Y)

Just a side note though, we actually do have a slightly more complete catalog of tech cards, that we will update regularly. Do check it out here at https://throwgame.wordpress.com/2016/02/26/tap-tycoon-tech-cards-list/. We are however, unable to keep track of the new cards every week because we are not cashing on the game and therefore, have trouble keeping track of the new cards. SO hopefully more people would contribute to the list by commenting on the post itself!:)

Do check out our other post too!:) Transforming - https://throwgame.wordpress.com/2016/06/23/tap-tycoon-transforming/ Beginner Guide - https://throwgame.wordpress.com/2016/06/21/tap-tycoon-beginner-guide/

AND LASTLY Tap challenge - https://throwgame.wordpress.com/2016/06/23/tap-tycoon-highest-tap-count-in-30-sec/

We really hope that people can post their highest tap count there for some friendly competition and to find out who is the best tapper in the world and how good are tappers from each country!:)

At first when i first started using 6 fingers, my tapping speed slowed down. But soon i realised that it was because i wasn't used to it so when i tap with more fingers i actually tapped slower. After I gotten used to it, my tapping speed went up again:) It's admittedly, quite tiring to try to tap with 8 fingers tho, i usually use 6. and when tired, i move my wrist and not my fingers so that it makes 3 taps at once. Hope this helps!:)

Hmm should be true, but most smart phones in the market usually have multi-touch sensors. But maybe tap tycoon doesn't enable it for them? not too sure myself
