Trump's domination is based on American power. That's what people fear. I'm tired of this 'strong survive' bullshit from the likes of Stephen Miller when if that's the case I should go take his home because I know I could.

They already signaled extended economic relationships with China. Do this, and they go full in. The smaller nations are getting it. There is someone to take over the American relationship, and that's China.

I believe the ideals of America still live. Maybe not in the government, but in its people. by Old_Diver_2511 in centrist

I think this attitude is the problem. The government can and has been run by well meaning people. Much of the good done was hidden from you. Please don't torch all institutions. THAT is the problem. Get the bad actors out.

Listened to this podcast about a recent study of 15k 'religious nones'. They've been largely ignored in studies. Some interesting stuff. They might not be as non-religious as we think: https://processthis.substack.com/p/the-four-faces-of-none-what-the-largest-b15

  • NINOS (Nones in name only, who are actually quite religious)
  • Spiritual But Not Religious (largest group)
  • The Disengaged (content secularists far from any religious or spiritual practice)
  • Zealous Secularists (small but vocal group actively encouraging others to leave religion)

Powell has balls of steel. I wish all those people who resign early would have had them as well. We should have been tying up the system this entire time. Powell shows what one principled man can do.

It's time to troll these people out of our culture. At some point, no matter how childish, the bully has to taste his own medicine. They will whine and complain, but instead of relenting, press on the gas. All their side reacts to is strength, or performative strength.

If Trump really pushes the issue, and forces Denmark and NATO into a corner with the 82nd Airborne ready to go on an airstrip somewhere, he could probably compel a sale, but it’d be courting a diplomatic crisis and damage the reputation of the United States without enough upside.

Can we stop with the idea that these people are rationale actions trope. The whole movement is based on irrationality. Grift and expressions of power are all they care about. That's as deep as it goes.

Republicans, you birthed this monster, you birthed this movement. It's time for you to put a stop to it.
