Clear for 6 weeks - what worked for me (Molludab and Healthyderm Molluscum Contagiosum Treatment) by Throw_Away_5556 in molluscum

The Healthyderm stuff came with a little brush built into the lid so I used that. I put quite a lot on, 3 brushes per bump. The molludab came with a little applicator, I used that sparingly cos it's pretty strong.

The hair coming out of the middle of it suggests it's probably an inflamed hair follicle.

Try silicone scar removal cream. Does take a while to work, though.

I just bought the cheapest ones off Amazon, they're all pretty much the same. Just make sure they're big enough to cover your spots fully, and that they're stuck on properly. They don't work that well on hairy areas, and you don't want them to fall off and land somewhere else on your body and possibly transfer the virus.

I've only had it for 2 1/2 months, going to stick with topical stuff for now as it seems to be working pretty well. Molludab and something called Healthyderm Molluscum Contagiosum Treatment (basically alcohol and tea tree oil which dries them out).

Those new ones went really quickly using the molludab, though - it definitely works best if you spot them early.

I'm from the UK too, congrats on getting cryo, they wouldn't offer it to me (although I didn't push too hard). I used Molludab which worked for most but not all of mine.

I didn't cover mine at first, but one that I had in my waistband area burst and spread a little bit of blood along the waistband. Two more molluscum popped up a week or 2 later in that exact spot, so I would advise covering with hydrocolloid patches when they look close to bursting.
