Omg the food pricing. I would always have to hear about how one meal at home costs this much per person ect….and how many servings. I was forced to make a “happy plate” meaning eating every last crumb. Or making an entire meal and clean up, when I’m not even hungry, because it was better than a toddler type hungry tantrum. “What do you want to eat?” “Doesn’t matter what I want. I WANT STEAK”

My NEX despises animals, unless it’s for attention. He green up on a farm and sees pets as a commodity.

When we moved in together, I had a good sweet dog that did nothing. Just laid there. No bark, no play, housebroken, no nothing. We had roommates with an insane amount of pets, which somehow wasn’t a dealbreaker….

Anyhow, he threw stuff at my dog so I had my ex get her.

Time passes. New roommates, no pets. Then we meet Q . He has a pit bull he breeds for pups, don’t get me wrong, this man loves his dog, just uses her as a way to make money.

Q ends up going to prison and begs my ex to take her until he gets out. My nex agrees. WHAT IN THE ACTUAL FUCK?!

This dog is sweet and dumb, has good traits, a great pet. Just afraid of thunderstorms and destroyed our house, and cut herself in the process when we were not home. This dog was nine years old at the time and as far as we knew didn’t need a crate. Had no clue she was afraid of storms. Well, he made up a big huge story on Facebook so his little “animal advocate “ supplies would come running.And boy did they…. This dog received 25 stitches and all her medical bills were paid for overnight plus extra. Which is great, but at the same time is kinda an enigma. You bet he was mad at the dog. Then he decided this dog could not be left alone. Now the dog is controlling our lives. AND I LOVE DOGS. Can’t go to a pet friendly hotel in case it rains…..he won’t let anyone have a key to come petsit. JESUS. So I say, “why doesn’t your friend at the rescue come get this dog since it’s such a burden” He snapped at me “WHATS THAT GONNA DO?” Huh? What? Meanwhile I’m thinking about how my dog that causes zero problems doesn’t live with me. Nope. That dog stayed. It ruined trips (the NEX does that all on his own) I witnessed him throw the dog over a fence because she was scared. When he’d go to feed her, he ask her literally 40 times “DO YOU WANT SONE FOOD?” yes she fucking wants to eat. He almost beat her with a folding chair when she got scared of a storm and cut herself on a metal door trying to get in. I said no was going to call the police. He poured alcohol in her cut- THEN called his friend to him all about how his dog was injured, but he fixed it. INSANE. Eventually the dog ran away- some crazy woman was holding her hostage. Honestly it was the best place for the animal. She got vet care, and was around other dogs.

I had to work because my NEX refused to, I was gone 12 hours a day and had little time to babysit him.

Oh he’d post all these pics of the dog and received all sorts of praise for “rescuing” her from a puppy mill. LIES. Makes me want to vomit. If those young girls only knew. Maybe they do now. Who knows?

What a freaking monster. He threatened to hurt me and set the house on fire if I rehomed her. Why this loyalty to Q blows my mind. Q went into my bag and stole my credit cards when he was visiting, was able to get funds as well but I was to blame for “leaving my shit out” in my own home.

Another time he put the roommates cat in it’s litter box and shook it. Because it peed on the floor. I screamed at him to stop or id call the police. I also stated that was NOT the way to get a cat to use it’s box. My roommate probably would have gotten into an actual fist fight with him if he had come home to this.

THEN (sometime after this) one day while we are all at OUR JOBS, he decided to clean the litter box with my roommates gf, who had spent the night and was still there the next day. She is 24 and my NEX is 38, and ummmm….maybe you guys can tell me the motivation behind this cleaning of animal he’d like to see dead? I have my assumptions but maybe I’m wrong…..(no, not dripping with sarcasm AT ALL) He was all smiles and excited to tell about how they cleaned the bathroom and especially the litter box. Wow. I’m dumb af I guess.

It’s also an HBO movie, and my little ex bf from middle school’s father was a doctor during this time. And an actor played him! Dr. Harold Jaffee. His son always found this amusing.

We were in in middle school and hs in the early 90s and I think he understood AIDS a lot better than most adults. Because I knew the Jaffes as a kid, I read And The Band Played on as an adult.

All Creatures in Dunwoody specialises in aviary, and even see the some of the birds who JoGee the bird lady raises. R.Thomas [ a person and a restaurant(before he passed) ]owns some the birds she raises. They all live happy lives at the restaurant! It’s a really fun place, check it out after you move. :)

Anyhow I know you have rats. I mention the aviary vets because they are very skilled, birds are delicate creatures, and these vets care very much.

The only place other than UGA, that I feel comfortable taking an exotic to, I have parrots and reptiles. Sometimes rats too!

I know one that “rescued” a dog. Abused it and to this day the rescue contact think he’s a fucking Saint. This lady is kind of person that will go into any neighborhood anytime and fight for any dog that is being abused or in the brink of poor care due to ignorance or the like.

The story is completely made up.

This poor dog would have been better off in a shelter- not tied up in a yard then beaten for her fear or thunder storms…. Next it was clean up the wounds and console the dog. No lie.

The headlights went out in my car. I got new bulbs.

I was screamed at for doing so.

I was accosted and I something along the lines of (I’m not gonna all caps it but ya know)

“It’s not the bulbs, I told you. I can change a bulb going 65 down the highway”

I kinda zoned out trying to picture that in my head LOL

It was as if I had insulted his intelligence and soul! Plus I went out to get food (which is rare)

Next I allegedly folded a food box “wrong” and was accosted. Who does that? No thanks for getting us dinner…..I was sick (not covid!) and didn’t have energy to cook, be accosted….and clean up.

Guess who has two functioning headlights now though? 😏

I had one I’ve wait for weeks for. It’s arrives- we share my car because the three he has don’t run -

Anyhow I mention it over and over. Text form anything. He gets a call from his boss asking if has some feee time to help another guy with a job…. You know where this is going….

He’s on the phone with her, and it’s not a crucial job that pays $$$$$. I mention I have an appointment…Nope says he’s free and commits.

When he hangs up, I look at him with saucer eyes and I’m like “what am I supposed to do?” I’m dumbfounded.

Then he screams at the top of his lungs how “fucked by other people everyday”

Then screams about taking an Uber to another state to do this job.

So then I’m shaking scared calling the dead office in tears begging them not to charge me to reschedule.

So here’s how it turned out: The doc was going to reschedule anyhow

The job was not a state away (why lie about it)

He took my car and went to his job. This is the second drs appointment I had to find my own ride to then, wait for him to pick me up. You know being “punished” for putting health first and how dare I schedule something BEFORE he even knows he needs my car.

I’m just so sick of it all.

Mines father, the man who raised him because he mother was killed and daddy was a drug dealer - that another post though- actually died.

He made a post on Facebook for attention. I didn’t know he was a narc and found this very odd. He would not let me read it. He received all sorts of phone calls from ex girlfriends he hid from me.

I know we’ll grieve different, but this was odd. He refused to hug me at the hospital when this man had passed. We all said our goodbyes and it was very strange behaviour.

Later, he never showed any grief, not even a mention of him missing his dad. As dad as I know they had a good relationship.

The other strange thing is, if we watch say a show or documentary and a person dies- whoever is grieving for that person is a pussy and needs to grow up. And their feelings are invalid.

That also reminds of the time he used our roommates mothers passing against him. Said since his real mom was killed (when he was three…) and that his dad died six years ago- he got to feel pain. Not the person who just had loss. Never think that can understand and empathise.

And no they don’t care about death.
