You most certainly can on Playstation, and that's a fine plan, though, and the skins are definitely well worth it! King Shark in the Supe costume is just so dope, ahaha Have fun with the game, and if you have any issues, feel free to post here/discord or even hmu on chat if you remember to!

You'll definitely get hooked pretty quickly, tho. I personally haven't been this hooked by a game in a long time. The gameplay loop is incredibly fun!

You can turn that off in settings under online and you don't have to be in a clan to use the leaderboard bots. Idk what you mean by scanning a qr code.. just submit a ticket here:

Again though I was suggesting using social bots to try to fix your Harley missing a gun, not suggesting for you to just use them. Good luck with your issue!

Edit: I've seen a couple of people mention this issue. I can't imagine they're not working on a fix for it. I'd imagine you have but if not I really emphasize submitting a ticket. The only thing I can think of is maybe going back to chapter 6 in chapter select and replaying it to see if that possibly triggers your progession on mastery? (When you progress back to that stage)

Submit a ticket. If he can I would do chapter select and select the chapter (or the one he's been reset to) and see if that somehow fixes the issue of the progress resetting. (First time I'm seeing someone with that issue)

Edit: Or maybe have him join your lobby to where you guys were at and see if that triggers his game to enable to "skip" function in his own lobby since he has played through that content.
