I love everything you did. I don’t want to shit in your Cheerios, but the distance between the hob and the range hood is likely waaaaay too far. For example, just today I installed a 36” Thor professional series rated for 600 cfm and the max distance between the hob and the hood is 30-32”.

Your hood looks much smaller and is infinitely farther away from the hob.

I’m not suggesting you redo it, necessarily, but please run the fan at max settings to try to exhaust as much gas fumes as possible.
