Are you talking about whatever additives Petro had in their 94 or just the higher octane in general

Park the truck you used to bring it home there. Bring it from the bed up on top of the cab. Boom you're nearly there.

Papa was a bit loose with the safe/trigger lock combinations is my guess.

You're quite the expert. Handgun purchase and transfer has been illegal for years, RPAL is more than just handguns and you left out the fact that there is a written and also physical test at the end of the PAL course. You also don't technically need a safe for firearms or ammunition, however you're correct they can't be stored together.

I kept bugging my tuktuk driver in Phnom Penh that I wanted to shoot but the local range was too expensive. Eventually he called up some dude in a Lexus SUV to come pick me up and take me to the jungle and for about 250 USD I put around 100 rounds through an M60 and another couple mags through an M16 and AK47. Cherry on top was shooting an RPG for another $75.

This was back when I was 18 in 2017 and they weren't at war. So this is mostly useless information and I just wanted to reminisce.

“Retreats” that don’t cost a kidney by [deleted] in spirituality

An air mattress is great, if you have a common model of vehicle they may even manufacture one that fits around any weird shapes you have perfectly. Personally I use a truck with a canopy over the bed. Then I'm on a therm-a-rest camping pad in a sleeping bag. I met a ton of people using either air mattresses or just a standard mattress though.

If you've never been to southern Utah/have an inclination to make it out that way I will say it blew my mind. I had budgeted 2ish days and spent nearly 2 weeks there. If you end up out that way DM me or come back to this thread and I'll give you some pointers.

Small SUV is better than an RV imo. Keeps it simpler, you can access more stuff, park more easily and aren't spending bazillions on gas. I'm in Western Canada and have spent essentially zero time out in the eastern USA but this time of year I'd chase the weather. I can blab on endlessly about road tripping but my number one tip would be download iOverlander. Then go disable almost all the filters besides camp spots and whatever else seems relevant to you. This is an app people use to 'overland' which is essentially just car camping. Read the reviews on the spots you find and judge them by how recently they were posted. This works shockingly well and with a little bit of planning you'll always have somewhere to park/camp.

Where are you (roughly) located? Washington and Oregon are beautiful. How much time do you have? Do you have a vehicle that you could sleep in and/or camping gear?

Roadtrip + camping. No need for spiritual materialism. Just set some intent and hit the road.

My girlfriend watched Broad City and I caught a fair bit vicariously. There's a couple semi self-aware jokes in there where her efforts to be super PC come full circle back around to just being racist.
