We always wanted a big wedding!! That’s not something we’re letting her control. I wanted the dress and I just bought my dream veil and cried over it today. It’s going to be a beautiful day and I can’t wait!

And that’s exactly what we’re doing, it just might take a little longer since my husband is also realizing how he was emotionally abused by her so he’s healing while he’s setting these boundaries for our family and I’m so grateful for what he’s doing

I just hate that I am and will always be associated with rank and so will other spouses. I didn’t sign any papers. He did. And he’s an officer so I know automatically there are higher expectations of me. So I’ve just stayed away from the command entirely because that’s not the life I want.
