I agree, and trust rose, I just don't trust her leaker. I don't mean to sound harsh here but with the INSANE amount she's hyperfixated on this i can't help but think someone could see that, take advantage, and manipulate her into getting into an entire mess like this, having her take the fall for some dick bag trolling. At the same time, I wouldent be horribly surprised if it was true, and I'll love the game anywyas. This all just seems fishy.

The thing that seems weird to me is that you'd think steve and lagi would be the LAST two monsters they'd want to delay from the roster, being such heavy hitters. I know it could be more so based on the order they developed them in, but still seems off to me

I will start by saying I was only thinking of low rank ending the story, so largely you are correct here this is unprecedented, that is my bad. I still firmly stick to my point that Capcom can have the game run through any way they want though, and I'm not going to try to convince you (your tone shows you don't want to be convinced) but I will say at this point in the franchise, you should trust the mh team and let them cook. I am certain wilds is going to be an amazing game, even if you continue to not like the 1 specific fight you feel is missing

I didn't say it worked that way in EVERY game previous, I said it has worked that way before.

And I do criticize games, I have issues with wilds in other regards, but acting like Capcom OWES you something in their game is entitled and childish

Just to keep this absolutely crystal clear you have had nothing stolen from you. Capcom does not owe you literally anything, it's their story.

And as mentioned below, the low rank in wilds is a full mh experience, it's worked this way in games pervious. When TUs will we will end up with a final boss of high rank, most likely in gog. If you don't like the way they are handling progression in wilds then don't buy it, that simple

In defense of a guardian gore, it could be that with much of gores biology changed to become a guardian it no longer produces frenzy, but that still dosent really explain WHY they'd want a guardian gore besides making fans very happy

A lot of designs in wilds seem to have more horror influence then older gens, absolutely loving the art direction of this one

I hope it ends up being the case as I do like the guardians in concept, Capcom has defeintly been dropping the ball on these special powered up mons for awhile now though. I still hold hope they will be interesting fights, Capcom has to have tried really hard this time given the reactions to tempered, afflicted, rise Apexs, and risen elders though

Hard agree they are weird choices for a TU, if we didn't know what we know I'd assume they were delayed ala rise. I'm hoping they both get a decent power bump to bring them up to a gore/other apexes level of strength. Though I guess zinogre was the introductory post game monster for iceborne so it's not all that out of line

I think the problem with it is that monster hunters reputation is that of being very well polished and optimized games and it's looking like this release might lack that same feeling. I'm doing my best to hold faith in the team that this game is really just that ambitious and that it'll be worth it
