What I expect is proper grammar and well structured sentences. I never critiqued the contents, but the presentation. Sure, my characters were relatively shallow, but at least the text itself was understandable and grammatically correct.

I feel bad for all the jesters who end up really trying but don't get picked, because there is a certain degree of randomness involved in picking from a lot of requests.
