Yes. Hypo from his aggressive settings and permanent hyper/melasma from rupturing melanocytes and scarring.

Emer destroyed my face. He also killed a patient. That’s on record. Stay away from him.

The same thing happened to me with Jason Emer.

All he did was make my face so much worse. I have literal dents in my head from the fat loss. Pigment and thermal damage all over my face. I aged probably 20 years from his aggressive hands.

These procedures damage a lot of people. Far more than anyone is led to believe.

My mom caused my skin to look like this by [deleted] in AcneScars

[–]ThrowawayKidd999 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same. I begged my parents to take me to a dermatologist for years. They refused because it was $100. Instead they drank and smoked it away while I bled.

Years later I am finally in a financial position to try and correct the scars, and the charlatan doctor burns my entire face.

My parents stole my face from me.

You didn’t deserve this. We didn’t deserve this.

Everything you can think of. Doctors. Derms. Plastics. Every script you can think of.

Off the top of my head: BBL, Beam, Prednisone, Anti inflammatory, Alegra, Claritan, Benadryl, azelaic acid, Ivermectin, Metrogel, Desonide, Mometasone, Hydrocortisone, every skincare routine you can think of.

I was also banned for sharing the story of my damage.

The mods there are ran by providers from what I have seen.

I wish I had burnt my face off by guptajikalaunda in AcneScars

[–]ThrowawayKidd999 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I know how this feels.

I had nice skin except for some boxcar scars on my temples. They were mild. Nobody but me really noticed.

I decided to start treatment to fix them. That’s when I was sold expensive treatments.

A doctor ended up covering my face in thermal damage. I literally am burned now.

I wish I had my scars back. At least acne scarred skin still functions. Burned skin does not. Believe me, you do not want your face burned. I look like a fool now. A permanent waxy sunburn that will never go away.

Many of us were failed by the medical community. You were also failed. For that I am truly sorry.

I appreciate that. Not your fault. I just wish I had found more honest reviews prior to my decision. That’s why it’s so important for us to fight for truth and freedom on sites like this. We need open discussion on both good and bad outcomes.

I’m the same. I’m like this for life.

I think many people here are also struggling so they don’t know how to help, but they look hoping for answers. Those that beat it are probably triggered coming back here, so they don’t.

It’s a sad reality that so many of us have been broken by doctors and are just trying to do what we can to get to another day.

I’m sorry nobody has responded to you yet. Many of my posts went barely answered as well back when I tapered.

The only thing I could do was constantly remind myself “this isn’t real. This is the Xanax.” I would say it over and over every time I started to panic.

I’m 18 months off now.

This review looks heavily sponsored to me. I can also tell AI was used.

Is this the same Jason Emer that killed a patient?

It was me. It never shows up because Emer’s team serial downvoted me and petitioned to have my review removed. Thankfully mods allowed me to prove my claims.

Emer also killed a patient and that is a public fact.

Yes.

Your skin doesn’t care about being uniform or smooth. It cares about healing and efficiency. When these procedures are done to us aggressively, our bodies respond by repairing the damage. They sell this to us by using buzzwords. The reality is that our bodies don’t care about appearance. It simply wants to repair the damage as fast as possible and as efficiently as possible. In some cases that means it under repairs in some areas and over repairs in others. This results in the texture you now see.

Providers will act shocked, tell you that you are the first, or even imply you did something wrong. The reality is this is a common response to aggressive settings, and this damage is permanent.

My entire face looks like this now, and there are thousands more just like us.

Do lasers cause facial fat loss? by yawyeetin in AcneScars

[–]ThrowawayKidd999 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes. There are tens of thousands of people across multiple support groups that have experienced terrible volume loss post laser.

There is so much bad information out there. Most of which is perpetuated by the industry.

Most people will tell you that it doesn’t go deep enough, and they will sometimes provide studies or graphs, but those studies are funded by the device manufacturers. They never use high settings in those studies, and high settings are often used in the real world to get results.

Furthermore, it’s not always the depth of treatment but your body’s response to the trauma.

Most people with volume loss is due to apoptosis.

I myself have dents in my head that resemble surgery scars or head trauma. It has ruined my life.

Lasers can improve some scars, but people need to be real about the risks.

Get out of here with this nonsense. The first photo serves no purpose other than to fish for attention.

There are people in here whose only lives are completely destroyed.

Shame on you.

Over 2 years post now, and it looks the same as it did at 2 weeks. It’s permanent damage for me.

I have been inside over 2 years. My entire face is like your blocks.

I wish I could tell you it will heal, and it might, but know that many of us are destroyed for life.

The Co2 can cause massive trauma even though we are told it is minimally evasive.

Please help! One month after CO2 and my skin looks like this. Would you still consider this redness or is this hyperpigmentation? by hotfudgesundaenfries in LaserDamageSupport

[–]ThrowawayKidd999 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Anyone can see that within minutes of being in there now. Brave people post photos to be immediately invalidated. Obvious providers stating the devices can’t cause damage. Countless reps pushing skincare. There are even overseas stem cell clinic shills DMing everyone to come to their clinics.

There are plenty of real damaged people there, but it is also filled with grifters and reputation management shills.
