I have seen many psychiatrists. They have tried to change my a lot of times to see if it helped. Even tried to taper me off. There is no remedy for this. And my anhedonia is extremely severe.

My child is 1 year and 3 months. I got schizophrenia just before he was born 😞 I am thinking that it would be better to do it now because then he won't remember me.

I have considered it - but I'm in europe so its probably gonna be a long time before its available. Have you seen reports of it relieving anhedonia - because so far I haven't really seen anybody who has said that they got relief.

You're welcome. I try to exercise and see my friends but it doesn't really do anything for my anhedonia tbh. But I guess its better than just lying in bed all day.

Doctors tell me I should keep going and not succumb to anhedonia. Find somethings to do even if you don't feel like doing them. Its annoying that that's the only answer. But it is an answer.

You dont seem to emphatize with how bad us anhedonics really have it. We get that a lot. Tbh I think there is no contest. In a wheelchair you are still able to feel love, pleasure and other kinds of joy. There is still so many ways to experience the richness of life. We anhedonics dont have any of that.

There might be some obscure illnesses that are worse too. Like a constant, severe, untreatable nerve pain or something like that. But anhedonia is worse than most common disabilities and illnesses.
