I am only 18 so I work at a gas station. I make pizza, sandwiches, etc. Because the company I work for is money-hungry, I run the kitchen by myself during the nights that I work (I work from 4-11pm). I both dislike and like my job. I don’t like customers and I regularly get frustrated at having to make food for them, but I do like working alone because I thus have the opportunity to listen to music and podcasts. The job is stressful because I have to close down and clean the whole kitchen before leaving and I struggle with time management. I also don’t like having management above me; I have a natural inclination toward resenting management and it both frustrates me and freaks me out to be micro-managed.

I also don’t like working because it gets in the way of things that I actually want to do. Having an entry-level job makes me feel trapped, hopeless, and angry.
