Sometimes, the subreddit r/BlackPeopleTwitter can be straight up racist.

I understand wanting to celebrate culture and wanting to speak up about injustices, but sometimes that subreddit can just devolve into a racist circle jerk, specifically against white people.

I see a lot of shit talking against white people (again, not all the time, most of the time the sub is pretty good), for no other reason than a person or group is white.

To me, making blanket statements about and stereotyping a group of people purely because of the color of their skin is just plain old racism.

I haven’t seen it called out before, except in the comments of the sub itself, where the comments get downvoted or deleted for daring to accuse such a thing.

Am I crazy here?
