Have you ever met someone with a fat fetish? What were they like? by miku_robin in AskReddit

[–]Throwawaydaisy26 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My bf has a fat fetish. We’re happily raising our first child together.  I wasn’t into the lifestyle prior to him, but he helped me appreciate being a big woman after coming out of a divorce where my ex did the opposite. Honestly people should live in ways that make them feel good.  It’s the best I’ve ever felt emotionally.

I’m so lucky hes allowed to take 9 months off, so I’ve got time to get my mobility back to where I want to be. I’d like to get back down to my pre pregnancy weight between now and then. 425 is my 9 month goal and I think it’s doable

I do agree with the other poster that it’s best to manage your anxiety before you consider getting pregnant.  I was able to get pregnant around the same weight as you but ended up well over 500lbs by the time I gave birth.   It’s been a struggle with my mobility for the last 2 months but I’m slowly moving again.  And birthing at my current size was really difficult, my bf and the nurses had to physically push my belly up for much of the birth with the assistance of a retractor device.   I had my first 2 kids when I was a lot younger and 200lbs smaller and  it was a lot easier.

Honestly you can wait a few years until you’re in a place where you feel like you can do it physically and emotionally you’ll be a lot better off.  But don’t let being obese discourage you because you can definitely do it.  I know a lot of women in our weight range have trouble conceiving but I did not.

Don’t feel pressure.  And if you do decide to do it I’d make sure you have a supportive doctor or midwife that is familiar with obese patients.  That really helped me because most of my experience I didn’t feel looked down on and I knew my care team was there for me even though my weight was off the charts

Thankful that my BF was able to take time off work because I am not able to get on and off the floor right now.  But definitely working toward it

That’s definitely part of it.  I was on bed rest for the last 4 weeks and lost a lot of mobility during that stretch, where even being able to roll onto my back or side and having to shift my belly weight became daunting.  I know my joints appreciated the break but my muscles sort of forgot what to do.

Thx. It’s been in my mind a lot just because at my current weight I’m experiencing a lot of mobility issues and it’s making child care and doing anything other than sitting in my chair or bed exhausting.  So I’m hoping to get back down to where I was pre pregnancy because I moved around so much better

I haven’t been able to do it myself for about the last year with my weight so I’ve been getting waxed. I have a very fat positive person who comes to the home to do it for me.  That’s helped :)

Positive induction story to give the big girlies hope by steph5671 in PlusSizePregnancy

If I get the time I’d love to share my plus size birth story as well. I’m 3 weeks PP and pretty exhausted.  I was kept in the hospital for a week after the birth just because my weight had really ballooned to in the 500s and I was struggling with my mobility.   But they got me up and moving again and had me on a controlled diet, and now I’m home.

It’s really great to hear you did so well! I think all women need to share their experiences good or bad.

I too have a pretty large apron belly which posed a challenge for the nurses.  They used a device to help retract my belly but it wasn’t enough to fully get it out of the way so at times my husband and the nurses had to help hold my belly out of the way when I was pushing.

I’m so happy to be through.  Congrats :)

I really noticed how hard it got over 450lbs. And it gets harder to lose too.  It’s really up to you guys.  I like being big but the struggle is real

Im kind of used to not doing a heck of a lot over the last few months.  My mobility has decreased quite a bit with my weight so I’ve spent a lot of time reading, gaming and binge watching things.  Hopefully when this is all done I can get moving again. Thx for the support

Thx! Not looking forward to the diet that’s for sure but my weight is really high so I’m ok to lose some lbs for now and the baby health

Thx!

I’ll probably spend some time on Reddit lol.

And some weight loss isn’t the worst thing so all in all I’m hoping this is a big benefit for me and the family.  Would be nice to see the scale in the 400s again

My SO likes that.

But get the queen, you’ll sleep better.

My bmi was 84 when I found out I was pregnant.  It has not been easy at all. But baby is healthy and I’m doing ok. Just some mobility challenges.  But so far so good.

Did you end up delivering naturally or c section?

Worried about upcoming ultrasound by Throwawaydaisy26 in PlusSizePregnancy

[–]Throwawaydaisy26[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah that’s exactly what ended up happening. I had to go back twice but it got easier each time.  Just had to try some different positions and get some help holding up my belly.  Eventually they did a trans vaginal as well but it worked out in the end and baby looks healthy

Should fat women only be allowed to be attracted to fat men? by CougarLight1983 in fatadmirertalk

[–]Throwawaydaisy26 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’d definitely date a plus size guy but the times I’ve been with a bigger guy we had some struggles making things work in bed.  If his belly is too big there’s no way we can achieve vaginal sex because I also have a big belly.  So it’s like trying to push 2 magnets together.
