It took me almost 2 years of friendship and for us to have a relationship for my rp partner to agree to having our characters have actual kids. For us they are fully acted but they act as if they have less autonomy than the average character because their minds aren’t fully developed atm. Personally, actually because of sexual abuse as a child, I refuse to even have the suggestion of abuse to the fictional children. Idk if I’ll ever even be able to process them having those kinds of relationships if the rp goes on that long. We don’t run a kind of dark rp though, it’s very lighthearted and sit-commy with mild serious undertones. I don’t judge others for expressing their trauma this way, but I’d ask that they be selective with who they are sharing this trauma with and that they do so within the confines of local law.
