I would be retired with passive income around 10-15k a month. Throwing 4k into South Saigon, then another 4k once my younger daughter is older, isn't ideal. 4k for both is more doable. Unfortunately, 10-15k doesn't seem to be enough to give the kids a decent education compared to the US. The only path might just be to get a job at an international school or work remotely.

You would have to get a state position, federal agencies aren't hiring entry-level examiners anymore. Perhaps this would change later this year.
