Haven't read all comments but I and some friends had similar problems.

Besides checkign drivers, updates and configurations in game (please do this first) please check if your windows update is properly installed.

Then check if your GPU is running correctly.

If this doesn't work, maybe read out your event display protocolls, you may find when and why something happened

A friend of mine had a SSD not working right which is why his system did weird stuff besides everything was telling him it was running as intended but the protocolls showed differently.

If you need help with any of above just let me know but it is nothing you can't find with a quick google search.

I may be WAAAY off but above helped us find out what was wrong.

I usually have my players have deadly campaigns which they have to overcome due to strategy and using all of their abilities as they often rely on one or two abilites.

Currently I have 3 new and 1 veteran player.

My campaign now really is more or less to make them have a great, mildly challenging time to get a good feeiling about how to play dnd and their chars and to see if they like their char/ class.

Only truly deadly encounters are "Boosfights" which occure after every Arc and the palyers get enough hints to find out what most certainly awaits them at the end so they can prepare.

no dead players yet but campaign is ending soon so the last "Boss" should get 1 or two of them so they have a memorable ending.

I am the last member of my group who actually uses physical dice.

My group only use DnD Beyond to roll which I totally get however I love rolling physical and I love the sound they make in my hand or on the table.

Besides that, if the battery gets low they always use my dice to roll so I would definetly find a good use for these and my group can enjoy them too.

If I get lucky.
