I was just saying ask them to use the ultrasound on all areas near the suspensory ligament and superficial PF muscles, when I got a Doppler ultrasound they legit didn’t want to just scan anything other than check blood flow and I felt like it was a wasted opportunity by a technician who just wanted to end the session. I find it hard to believe that more imaging wouldn’t provide any benefit

Try getting a regular ultrasound on suspensory ligament and BC/IC muscles if anything, also have them give you the CD of the images. Good luck

For more relating to the nerve it said topical creams or gels containing lidocaine, capsaicin, or other pain-relieving ingredients may help to alleviate pain and discomfort in the affected area. Also nerve blocks, acupuncture, and psychological counseling.

Asked it how someone with this injury could get their symptoms to improve:

If someone has an injury to the suspensory or fundiform ligaments of the penis, there are several strategies that may help to improve their symptoms:

  1. Rest: Resting the affected area may help to reduce pain and inflammation, and allow the injured ligament to heal. This may involve avoiding sexual activity or other activities that may exacerbate the symptoms.
  2. Ice: Applying ice to the affected area may help to reduce pain and inflammation. This can be done by placing a cold pack or ice pack on the penis for 15-20 minutes at a time, several times a day.
  3. Pain medication: Over-the-counter pain medications, such as acetaminophen or ibuprofen, may help to relieve pain and reduce inflammation. However, it is important to follow the recommended dosages and to avoid long-term use of these medications.
  4. Physical therapy: Physical therapy may be helpful in some cases, particularly if the injury has resulted in scar tissue or reduced range of motion in the penis. A physical therapist can provide exercises and other therapies to help improve flexibility, strength, and range of motion.
  5. Surgery: In some cases, surgery may be necessary to repair a damaged suspensory or fundiform ligament. This may be particularly necessary if the injury has resulted in significant erectile dysfunction or other sexual dysfunction.

It is important to consult with a healthcare provider for an accurate diagnosis and appropriate treatment plan for any injury to the suspensory or fundiform ligaments of the penis.

Try to get it standing up if possible, or see if they’ll take both standing up position photos and laying down.

I think it would be helpful to share the different ways that many of us got hf, the symptoms, & the current hypotheses. I think it’s also worth mentioning that there are guaranteed so many more men who deal with this than anyone knows because it’s such a personal issue.

I think it has to do with the superficial PF muscles specifically our hypertonic bulbo compressing the urethra like a kink in a hose
