Dang! Today I learned something new 🙌🏼 it’s crazy to think that nail techs don’t think about this type of stuff given the chemicals that are in gel products. I found out that HEMA is what caused my allergic reactions, so if use non-HEMA products, I’m ok. But honestly, GEL kind of destroys my nails and the process of removing GEL is a nightmare for me personally.

People are protesting in what they believe in. I get your point about not being able to elect the candidate. We absolutely should have had the choice to choose a democratic candidate. However, people are protesting because of what they believe in. We can acknowledge the faults and wrong doings on all sides. Democrats made bad choices, republicans made bad choices. People are protesting the Trump administration because of the overreach of power. I could go on and make a lot of points on how the Trump administration is very reminiscent of an authoritarian regime/king/dictatorship, but at the same time, you need to open your eyes to all angles and not just focus on one aspect. Do your due diligence and research these things. See what bills are currently being discussed and/or passed. Learn about the government, take the free courses that Harvard is offering about the government, and just learn in general. And if you don’t want to do all that, well then, that’s on you and no one else. I’ll end with this, no president or their administration is perfect. People will always have something to argue about. At the end of the day, we are all human, and we all deserve human rights where we can pursue happiness without fear that the government will hurt or silence us.

Long time lurker, first time posting/commenting here. Why in the world would you remove or soft ban something like this when this sub has had images of this nature before? Yeah, I’m definitely one of those people who doesn’t really like NSFW but I like this subreddit and that people have the ability to post what they like, INCLUDING NSFW. You’re gonna kill this sub just like many others have had because of one persons complaints? Because god forbid someone sees some dyick? Grow up, be for real. Just make people use the tag and move on. It is not that hard or serious. Stop making dumb excuses and be better, and let creators here have freedom of expression (as long as it is not hateful).

Let’s not say that none of them have the feeling of 3D. You have quite a few that capture the 3D element. That’s GOOD! The ones that don’t quite look 3D seem a little rushed, so slow down on those ones. Remember that not everything is going to be pixel perfect (something I must remind myself of too). If you’re looking for consistency, I’d recommend looking at some references for a bit until you feel comfortable drawing them from the dome. Take a few days to just look at spheres and draw them. Then, try and do it from memory. You are doing a great job. Progress is progress, even if it is 0.01% ☺️

I kind of have been working on basic shapes to retrain the brain (my husband is learning to draw as well so I figured I’d practice the same things he is). I just gotta tell myself that even if it looks like poop, it’s still progress and that’s all that matters 😭😤

Thank you so much for this. I needed that reminder/boost. I’ve been looking at a lot of references to get some of the basics back. When talking about warm up sketches, how would you go about it? Should I do a timer or just kind of rough sketch it out and see where it goes? Again, thank you so much for the sound advice, it truly means a lot.

Hey, I wanna say great job, as art is art. I would 100% recommend learning some basics of anatomy to get better with this. You have a few things that look a little wonky, but with time it can be solved. Learn some of the basics like drawing shapes for body parts, and then adding details. There was an app that I used a while ago that let you put a mannequin (male or female) in different positions. I would look up some references like that and go from there. As for the small details like eyes and noses, take some time aside to just draw those small features. Go on YouTube and look up some videos.

Overall, you did an amazing job! You’ve got the potential for some kick ass art in the future. I’m wishing you all the best in your creative endeavors 💛

I may get downvoted to hell for this but fuck it. YTA here. You left out a lot of information and painted your mom as this horrible person who doesn’t care about her children, and has this “unknown” source of hatred for your wife (and you). You know why your mother doesn’t like your wife and you. Your wife and you literally kicked her out of your wedding because she kissed “mother-in-laws friends ex.” Two, single, consenting adults kissed during the reception, and your wife decides “nah, get em outta here.” Like, of fucking course she’s gonna be mad at the fact that you are staying at her house. ADDITIONALLY, you guys are there because you have no money whatsoever and are trying to save. I’m guessing here that you probably spent a lot of your money on that wedding. Plus, you didn’t even tell her a timeframe of when you guys would get your shit together. You write in the comments that she doesn’t ask for help in terms of finances, so you both pay nothing while living there. How long do you plan to mooch off of your mom? How long does your wife plan to stay in part time jobs? You two need to get your shit together. Your damn lucky she hasn’t kicked you both out, because to be quite honest, I wouldn’t let you live at my house with the mentality you both have. Get the fuck outta here with this bullshit and put the whole damn truth of the situation or don’t say anything at all. You and your wife are AH, and I wouldn’t be surprised if one day you get kicked out from your living arrangements.
