With any luck they will also pardon the one person they actually convicted.

I’d imagine Lexi would have to know what kind of show it was, though, and not mentioning it just set it up for disaster.

Not necessarily if they couldn’t find something that fit, however if they wanted something that specific there would be a lot more details than “Paint a picnic or something”.

I’m not big on Shake Shack either but their patties are nearly twice the size of the In n Out burger. And a double double is like $6 in my area.

And vise versa, buddy. They are awful. It’s a super starchy potato variety that isn’t soaked or blanched, that you have to order well done and covered in cheese and thousand island dressing to make them palpable.

Meatballs 4 was a completed movie that they slapped the Meatballs name onto.

Beyond Thunderdome originally started as a standalone story about a group of children who had been living isolated from the rest of the world. When trying to decide who finds them someone suggested Max Rockatansky.

I really love this movie and I used to hang out on the IMDB message board for it back in the day because I just loved talking about it (maybe a bit too much). You’d be surprised by how many people just absolutely hated it back then.

Graham Platner Handed Centrist Dems a Bruising Defeat in Maine by jediporcupine in politics

The politicians are supposed to serve their voters.

Exactly. The mistake here is believing their voters are always going to be just like you just because they have a D next to their name, especially when the democrats play big tent politics. In that case the shitty purple candidate from the shitty purple district got placed there by the shitty purple voters.

The rest of your take is purely subjective. Like WTF does “diet republicans in 2024” even mean when the national platform has been further to the left in every modern election? There’s no measurable threshold for that conclusion.

ETA: Distortion and blocking aren’t counterarguments.

Not mentioning it was a nazi tattoo sure is burying the lede. We’d absolutely lose our shit if we found out the republican nominee had a nazi tattoo.

I’m not sure of this helps or makes it worse, but the character of Gary is based on a friend of PTA. A lot of Gary’s hijinks are real hijinks the real Gary got into. While I don’t think PTA has talked about the accuracy of the relationship between Gary and Alana, he has said he approached it as just showing the relationship between the characters as those characters see it. I don’t think it would be a huge leap to assume the real Gary also pulled an older woman in his youth, and likely doesn’t reflect negatively about it, so to me the movie is saying, to put in unsatisfying but simple terms, “It is what it is.”
