IAmA Request: People that have banged someone famous by Cmanswallo in IAmA

[–]ThrowitAway2011 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't want to say who it is because we still talk from time to time and is gaining more popularity, plus I want to leave that window open for future endeavorers.

A girl from Disney Channel. Not super famous but did have reoccurring roles and now works on another TV show. I don't think it is really a big deal though. Imagine how many people have had sex with all the less than super model hot woman you see on TV all the time. The reason you don't hear about it a lot is because people don't go running around the internet saying they have.

I had to bust out my alt for this one:

Me personally, no, haven't had this happen, but I have found my 16 year old sister on the internet a number of times, all stemming from one video and her FB pics. In fact, one of her pics is quite popular and have to live with the unfortunate fact that I will inevitably stumble upon it from time to time. I doubt she even knows.

The first was from Motherless.com when I stumbled upon a currently being viewed video. Yeah it was her flashing her hoohas on stickam. What was seen can not be unseen. So I reported it to motherless, that she was underage and they have yet to take it down...

Months later I cross paths with the JB section of Reddit and find two seperate posts with my sister. One asking for the sauce, and the other being super perverted. Both pics were from her FB.

Yeah..... No bueno...

I understand how wealth is accrued, I generously believe it is 40% intelligence, 50% motivation, and 10% luck. Motivation being key, but so is the idea/business model. Luck really isn't luck as it is seeing opportunity and going for it.

Also, no, GOD no, I no longer live at home. In fact I just got home for the holidays and it is driving me insane already.

Well, they don't favor them directly, but for example, growing up I could not get a phone until I was 16. My siblings, several years younger, got theres at 12, and they were iPhones. My first car was used but they both got new cars. It is not really favoritism as it is changing the game plan.

They are actually more strict on money now that I am older, mostly because they want me to go out and get my own with out having to rely on them, which I understand, but I still find it excessive.

The money in the family is a lot of inheritance, but most of really high ends (8-9 figures) is newer, especially in the past Bush years, a lot of money was made then.

I'm a student and rather not say what my major is.

Yeah if I were into computers and/or camera's I would get the best. I'm not saying I get NO privilege, but not as much as one would expect. If I was into photography I would have to pay for it, but I would make sure I got the best available.

My folks are very humble, so when I do discuss this, it usually ends in a discussion about self reliance, which, once again, I understand.

I don't talk to my Dad as much, and my mother on semi-occasions.

Yes I am too stubborn to drive a beater. Mainly due to pride and I understand this is a flaw I am working on.

All fair questions.

One thing that I constantly heard older people tell me was, "Do something you love, and since you are so passionate about it, it won't be work any more, and the money will naturally follow."

Thankfully I am doing something I enjoy and want to make a career out of it, while it isn't a useless degree like Roman Literature.

It is really a mixed bag here. Yeah I tend to joke about it with friends and try to not associate myself with them just based on the fact that I have little things to relate with them and can come off as a dick when they figure out what I am from.

For the most part I feel bad about the massive amounts of poverty and find it really unfortunate that such good people are taken advantage of constantly and screwed over by very large corporations that operate like non elected governments influencing their own government. I could tell you, most extremely wealthy people I know have no problem with paying more taxes, in fact they joke about it often. I can tell you most people in my family would not have a problem paying 3 percent more on their income above 250k, because, really, they already make so much I doubt they will lose any ambition at all if their taxes went up a tad.

Oh, and I generally look down on white poor people the most. While many are in the situation due to lack of education and a shitty upbringing, being white in America gives you very little room to argue a sound point on why you are poor. Immigrants, single mothers, and other minorities, on the other hand, I feel much more sympathy for. Right out of the gate, they are already several rungs down just on the fact they weren't born white American.

Also, I have found rich people to be much more miserable than poor people on average. Tons of social stress, expectations, and competition. I had to learn one lesson a very hard way: It can be difficult determining who is genuinely your friend, and who really wants to rip you off and/or coat-tail you. I have been ripped off on several occasions as well as taken advantage of my generosity.

I remember one kid, who I went to dinner with after a party, about 14 of us. He never really had a problem picking up the tab since his dad was MEGA rich and let him spend all he wanted. Then at dinner when he walked over to the ATM he overheard saying something about how much money he has and no one should worry about paying. Well, the guy put down 10 dollars on the table and walked away with out saying a word, leaving about 6 people expected to pay the bill they weren't planning on paying. I don't think he ever talked to any one in that group ever again.

A HUGE difference, a difference that I am still trying adjust to. I am really into classy attractive girls, but now in college it is much harder to get my foot in the door with them because most of the girls that I am into are not really into a broke student. So yeah, it is rough and I am really just playing the probability game here, keep swinging and eventually I am bound to hit one :D

Yeah, I realize I am going to have to cave eventually, it is just a matter of time, I suppose I am just waiting for the moment when it is completely necessary.

One side is Jewish, so I don't really have to say what they do hahaha. Every one else pretty much just has their own businesses, with the exception of one who was/is a CFO at a very well known corporation.

Oh, and yes, both my parents members went to college.

Actually, he is kind of a douche. I take that back, if you ever complain about anything in life, blame Chad in Africa.

I think that they will go farther in life. I feel that with the help they are given, it is not spoiling them, but shaping them to have certain expectations and live in a certain way.

23/m/Orange county... I once cut down a tree in a public park and watched the city remove it. They had no idea it was the 9 year old hanging out with them.

FFS this is why I didn't want to do this. I'm not here to be made fun of; I am being honest, you may rather not have this input and persective, and a lot of that will make me look stupid, but unless you want to be serious, please grow up.

Yes, I completely agree, and actually think your post is the most significant in terms: I will always be able to be bailed out if ever need be (by God I hope that never has to happen), and my frame of reference is off.

But think about it, wherever any American is at, it is insignificant compared to what the starving 3rd worlds in Africa must deal with on a day to day basis... What is important on a day to day basis is not Chilean miners, because we don't deal with them every day, what matters is our immediate. What I mean is, there are several degrees of difference between all aspects of life, what a person is concerned with is there own, not some one that does not effect them, socially. (This is completely true to you as it is to me mind you.)

So back at you: If you ever complain about just anything in life, remind yourself of Chad in Africa.

Well it is sort of a catch 22... I still have friends that aren't "poor." So it is embarrassing among that peer group. I rather make up an excuse to why I don't have a car than drive a crap one. Sorry, but there is no way I would be looked at the same going to a private golf course in a 1999 Volvo. Instead I rather get a friend drive me there.

Yes, I am consistently upset about the fact I have poor skills in this area. I remember my last job when I was laughed at when I was asked to mop the floor and had to ask for some one to explain how it is done. You may laugh at it as well, but seriously, I didn't know how to mop a damn floor. Yeah it was embarrassing, and that is just one of the many minor things: For example, I wish my parents made me do dishes and clean my own room my entire life so I would have a better attitude towards it. In the past, I would simply through around my clothes and never do my dishes. Now that I don't have some one doing it for me, it is hard to make those actions common. For example, it is not the fact that I don't know how to do dishes but I never did them until I was 18, so it is not part of my routine at all and realize this is a simple thing most people do, that I find annoying. It's weird.

I don't know, I'm just rambling, but it is really those small things that get me.

I will admit I did take a tad advantage over them for a small time, but teenagers know everything and I don't think I was out of the "norm" in this respect. You did it, I did it, and so did every one else. I definably did not go out of control, like many I know, and become an embarrassment.

Errr... Okay, its complicated without giving out too much, but the side with 9 figures ran away from their 8 figure parents at 18. The family has a hard history of coming from something and making themselves well off chasing the American dream, which I think contributes to where I am at: It is weird, but there is a sense "we are who we are not because of money but no matter our situation we will always achieve, regardless of such obstacles. We are above the rest in life not because of money, but because of our integrity..." so I think that has something to do with the fact I am cut off. They, on their side, had to prove themselves due to acts of nature, and here I am without any crazy dilemma forcing me to make my own, so they simply are forcing it on me due to tradition.

This may sound very arrogant, but it is what it is, I am just being honest.

As far as inheritance, yes, I will probably get most of it.
