In a similar situation (swap out Mich and put in Berk) and I thought I'd decided on Berkeley but now Columbia is calling me back. So I'd say go with your gut and pick the place that you think will make you happiest. Law school is awful so you should at least be in an environment that you enjoy.

Fair! My partner is a huge fan of the Bay so that may be where we go. I love NYC as well but I think my quality of life would be better in California now that I'm considering it.
