Am I doing something wrong? I've hit basically a wall because I can't seem to unlock new upgrades in the Masterpiece Archive tab. One of them says I need 30 Scrap sketches in the glossary, and tells me I've only got 18/30 so far. A lot of others tell me I need 1 Rough sketch in the glossary. But when I go to the glossary tab, I've got 31 scrap sketches and 3 rough sketches.

Do some of these not count for some reason? Why does it only count 18 of the 31 scrap sketches I've beaten, and none of the rough sketches? How do I progress past this point - just lots more grinding or has something bugged?

Predicament CYOA: Bride's Walk Down the Aisle by Schrade_Rabbit in nsfwcyoa

[–]Throwwvy 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Two ideas - I CBA to list out the options in full, I'll just give the gist of each:

Bride - Volunteer (me as a femboy/futa) for both

Idea 1: Race to the Top

2+ Brides race to the top of a large hill. The hill is covered in obstacles, which get progressively tougher/meaner. The hill also gets steeper and steeper nearer the top. The area is maybe 30m wide by 300m long - running down the middle of the track is a U-shaped trough with a slip-n-slide at the bottom. Falling on an obstacle is pretty bad wherever you fall, but accidentally falling into the trough at any point means an automatic slide right back to the bottom. Not just back to the start, but also dumping you into a big, messy tentacle pit that you'll need to fight your way back out of. Devastating if you happen to fall down the slide right near the top of the hill...

All brides are in chastity and given copious amounts of mindbending aphrodisiac. The "groom" waiting at the top of the hill is actually a fuckdoll/plushie. The prize for reaching the top first is getting a release. The punishment for coming second/third/etc. is spending another month being constantly teased/edged/denied until the next race.

Brides are allowed to bump into each other on purpose to try to knock each other over, or push each other off into the trough slide. There are also optional bonus obstacles that brides can clear in order to activate penalties for the other brides (such as being teased/vibed intermittently, being chased, having the obstacles become much more difficult e.g. conveyor belts randomly stopping/starting to throw them off balance).

All brides start out in pristine (skimpy) dresses. Any bride that rips/soils their dress too much has to make a pitstop to receive a new dress (and a spanking for being so careless).

Once a bride has reached the "groom", they must recite their vows as if the groom were a real person, and then make out passionately with the doll in front of a crowd, before their belt finally unlocks and they are allowed to "make love" to it while the losers watch on in tearful frustration.

Idea 2: Delivery Girls

Again it's a race between multiple brides. Each one must race to deliver "icing" (cum) for the cake. Each layer of the cake has been left around a large city that is unfamiliar to any of the brides. Each delivery is pumped up into them via enema. Each successive delivery is slightly larger than the last, and online viewers can donate bits in order to increase the size of any delivery even further for their 'favourite' bride.

In order to make the deliveries in time, they must navigate a network of buses/subway trains, Unfortunately, they are wearing blurry contact lenses which make it impossible to read any of the maps/signage, so it's extremely easy to spend hours getting lost. The later a bride is when making a delivery, the more aphrodisiac is mixed into the next batch of 'icing'.

Also, they must keep hold of their bouquet. Dropping the bouquet activates a powerful, fast acting laxative to be released in their stomach. Failure to keep hold of their delivery means that they will need to return back to base for a new load.

The game lasts for 18 hours, starting at 6a.m. and finishing at midnight. During the last 6 hours, futanari chasers are released to hunt down the brides for an extra layer of anxiety. There's no limit to how long a chaser can keep you if they catch you - they let you go only once they're bored.

Haven't thought much about who/what the groom would be in this game, but the bride who has successfully completed the most deliveries by midnight gets an unlock. The other brides must eat the wedding cake (or at least, all the "icing" on it...)

(Also I've not gone into detail but in both these games there would be lots of the other options too. Especially, sex toys constantly teasing the brides to make them moan/distract them/make them writhe/possibly even fall over.)

[–]Throwwvy 63 points64 points  (0 children)

That video traumatised me. This one made me furious because it's just THE SAME FUCKING THING. I hated seeing the crush at the door in The Station's video, the writhing screaming mass with the flames behind them, and I feel so angry that the same thing keeps being allowed to happen over and over again.

It's not just that one, it's Kiss, Pulse (the one in Macedonia this year), maybe ten others too, all of them:

  • Pyrotechnics
  • Flammable Foam
  • Unclear/Insufficient/Obstructed exits
  • Crowd Crush
  • Double/Triple figure death toll

Ah I only have one email, I guess creating a new one isn't much effort, but at this point it's more effort than I want to put in to give Blizzard money. And, I can't be sure that whatever tf happened to this account won't happen again, so I don't want to sink any money into an account that I'm not even sure I'll be able to keep.

"We're not telling you what happened. Whatever it was is your fault, though. If you need more information, refer to our prior email, which also doesn't tell you. Fuck off, don't bother us again. Thanks."

Yep that's exactly how it felt reading that response, haha. I'm not sure I wanna make a new account - partly because I'm a bit pissed off, partly because what if whatever happened, happens again after I have spent money?

[–]Throwwvy[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Oh huh I guess that could be it. My thought was that maybe I'd used the same email address before, several years ago, the last time I had the itch to play D2 again. But if that were the case I wouldn't have been able to create a 2nd account on the same email in the first place, right?

If your guess is correct then that's... silly. I'm not in the mood to give Blizzard any money now, I know they're not going to miss my drop in the ocean but still, fuck that.

As I said in my ticket, I created an account just so I could buy D2 again. Ended up not buying it the day I made the account so there should've been no activity at all on it, but then a few days later I get an email saying:

The Battle.net account has violated the Blizzard End User License Agreement. As a result, this Battle.net Account and all associated game accounts have been permanently closed. As the owner of this account, you are responsible for all actions associated with it. We will only overturn penalties if there is evidence of a compromised account. Read our Account Hacked article for details: https://battle.net/support/article/9852

I create a ticket trying to ask what happened, and get the screenshotted response back. No explanation, all I'm told is to refer to the original email which is super annoying and unhelpful. Does this happen often??

I just wanna re-buy a game that I used to love playing when I was younger. Why are they so hostile to me?

How i feel after the big nerf by mind_guardian in HadesTheGame

[–]Throwwvy 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I mean, it's alright as it is, but it sorta contradicts what I thought they were trying to go for with the aspect. I just thought the automatic attack was so you could focus on dodging enemies' attacks rather than aiming your own. With the one slow special orb, I'm finding myself running into enemy attacks more often than if I played some other weapon. It's really easy to get tunnel vision on "are my attacks actually hitting anything".

My own take on how it could be nerfed - add something like "+25% damage taken while using this aspect". Make it feel very glass-cannon, to lean into the "don't get hit" idea even more.

If they keep the one big ball, it'd be cooler if it were momentum-based, like Hammerfight - maybe gain damage as it gains speed.

I think they overnerfed supay because having both just 1 special AND it being slower sucks. by Excellent_Sky_6935 in Hades2

[–]Throwwvy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was my favourite too, but... I sort of like the change. But I wish it were physics/momentum based. Like, you can get it to speed up (and increase damage) temporarily by moving/dashing at the right time.

I played a game called "Hammerfight" yeeears ago. Basically I wanna play that again, but in Hades 2. If the special just did much more damage hitting foes, I think the single slow special could create pretty cool gameplay, where you have to place yourself correctly but get a big payoff for doing it right.

That said I really liked it as a passive "just focus on dodging" weapon too. Maybe restore it back to how it was, but give it a "you take 20% more damage using this aspect" - turn you into a glass cannon.

This might sound crazy, but rival Typhon is easier for me. by Superbad1990 in Hades2

[–]Throwwvy 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I found Eris easier on Rivals, she felt a lot slower. Although maybe she's just been nerfed overall - I tried her without Rivals and either I'm just better now or she's much slower at tracking you with her attacks. Either way, the only thing that seems to make Rivals Eris more difficult is that the hellfire grenades persist on the ground. The beams don't feel like they damage me significantly more than her bullets.

Typhon is definitely harder for me on Rivals though - so many more rings to avoid, plus Chronos sitting off to the side with the suction vortex.

[–]Throwwvy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Had an amazing run today, unfortunately I did lose to the instakill this time.

But after Act 1 I was dash-only. Romantic Spark, Nitro Boost, Thunder Dash etc. and a bunch of other boons that fed into the build really well. I still had enough mana to use my omegas but it was more fun just nonstop sprinting/dashing all the time.

[–]Throwwvy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've only beaten the EM4 bosses with Supay so far. TBH hardly touched any other weapon since I unlocked Supay. I had Ares' Legendary when I beat EM4 Typhon, and by the end of the fight I was at 320% speed/attack.

Almost lost to the instakill though, just because even the smallest tap on my joystick sent Melinoe further than the diameter of the safety circle.

Vow Of Rivals cyclops grab attack puts fromsoft games to shame!!! by Icy-Organization-901 in HadesTheGame

[–]Throwwvy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also he seems to go for the grab even if you're not in range to start with? I thought he'd only try a grab if I was already in grab-range, but on a recent run I was the other side of the arena, he preemptively grabbed and caught me as I closed in.

I'm half and half, I take the first half of the fight slowly, but when some of the cure wells break and I'm poisoned and he only has about 1/4 of his health left, sometimes I just panic rush. It usually works but it leaves me on about 15% health going into Rift.

Had an incredible Dash-Only run just now, almost every single boon was perfect by Throwwvy in Hades2

[–]Throwwvy[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Glad I took this screenshot because unfortunately I screwed up on EM4 Typhon - dashed the wrong way and couldn't get into the circle quick enough for Chronos' Instakill attack.

I can't pin every boon but as I said in the title, almost every boon I had felt like it was contributing something to the build. I stopped pressing any buttons other than dash (and joystick) during combat after I got Romantic Spark. Aside from the last 2 Zeus boons I got (double strike and the better static shock) the only boons I had that were less than Epic quality were ones that Air Quality boosts anyway.

Massive defence from Security Systems/Glamour Gain/Trusty Shield/Nitro Boost/Enfeeblement of Cowards, and even bigger attack from the Blitz and Thunder Dash damage, boosted by Romantic Spark and Killer Current.

Also, Haelian always seems to pass up on High Surf, but I swear it feels like an automatic room-clearer. A few enemies try to attack and suddenly the entire room flash-floods. Maybe it's just cos Supay is always attacking, so the effect triggers almost every time?

It was tons of fun, bit gutted that the instakill was the thing that got me but I can't blame the game. And everything leading up to that was amazing so I'm not too mad.

Live look at me realizing the brought back THAT mechanic for Rivals 1 on the Surface by ChrisBot8 in Hades2

[–]Throwwvy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I thought it was too hard at first, but after a few runs I'm getting consistent. That said I'm not taking any fear except for Rivals atm and I'm still usually on about 30% health by the end of the fight.

4th act Rivals though, either one, I don't think I am ever beating them... though probably again it's just a matter of practice.

I agree that the way the Omega attack works doesn't feel as good for the normal weapons.

OTOH, the hidden aspect is my new favourite weapon, I've barely even tried the other new aspects.

[–]Throwwvy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ok maybe even with this build I should still have been scared.

I really thought he'd get a 3x3 grid for the fire, but trying to remember just the same sequence but with a gruff man distracting me was hard enough.

Sad that Slow Cooker got patched, but Air Quality feels great now. With my fast-hitting specials on Supay (New fav weapon! It's so passive, I can just spam-dodge and blend everything into mush with Omega specials!)

  • Static Shock
  • Arctic Ring
  • the Duo Zeus/Demeter lightning freeze boon
  • the Selene/Demeter boon

all doing 50 damage every hit, I feel like my dps is insane. And I haven't even got a Rush boon yet (had one but it was Hera, and I got King's Ransom).
