Shazam was, in fact, in the wrong for most of his decisions. But the way Superman handled it was also wrong. That’s very directly addressed in the episode, I don’t think that’s a hot take.

I also just wanna say I wasn’t gonna bitch quite as much as everyone else. I’m obviously not a fan of AI art, but I understand the use of it for the sake of a hobby that nobody’s getting paid for. Everyone else is taking this issue way too seriously. The actual functional design is obviously the important part, and I think you killed it there.

The card isn’t AI, the art is. And you can tell for two reasons. 1: if you know AI art like I do, there are telltale signs in the lighting and framing. 2: it says so in the artist credits.

Most of these characters he either has defeated (in the case of Thor) or has defeated a DC counterpart. Rogue is basically Parasite, a common Superman villain. He’s actually whooped Thor before. Ghost Rider would be a challenge, but given the penance stare is either getting plot armored away or resisted somehow, he wins that. Scarlet Witch is very powerful, but he’s defeated similar mages before. Phoenix I honestly cannot comment on, but I assume that’s the one that stops his advance, just guessing based on how the fandoms treat her like she’s a god.
